This cream texture is thick, and my skin absorbs it well, moisturizing, I use everyday for my hands that are red and raw. It helps soothe, makes my hands soft and less irritated. Great improvement in my hand care. I have been using 2-3 times daily, highly recommend. Relief was worth every penny.

This is the first product I bought to control my itching that actually works. Plus it's not greasy and it's unscented. I applied it for the first time two and a half hours ago. The itching stopped immediately and has not itched once in all that time. I applied the cream too liberally on one arm and it feels slightly tacky. I was more moderate, although thorough , with the other arm, and it just feels nice and smooth -- not the least bit tacky..The relief from all that itching is wonderful! I am so glad I bought this product.

It's worth every penny! Itchy skin due to kidney failure isn't solved with simple moisturizer. This stuff WORKS for a long time! I may go through a jar every three months, but it WORKS! I can't be happier now the itching won't keep me awake at nights anymore!

Actually worked much better than aloe vera gel!! Amazingly good product! Moisturize and killed itching skin and sunburn!! I tried aloe vera and then this. Was amazed!

For this to be so expensive it should at least come with a tamper proof seal. It works great. This will be my third purchase of this product and I use it until the jar is completely empty. It works well for eczema, hives, and phantom itching on the legs.However, I’ve ordered this from Walmart as well and I guess the company just doesn’t seal this product. I don’t know why. It is a cosmetic product and should be sealed. I feel like I’m taking a risk every time I use it and I shouldn’t have to feel that way.

My dermatologist told me about this product. At night sometimes I would wake up with scratches on my arm from itching during my sleep that I was not aware of. When I went to the doctor, she told me to try this product to moisturize my skin. After applying this lotion to my skin, especially after my shower it really moisturizes my skin and most importantly stops the itch. I highly recommend this product for anyone who has itchy, skin for no known reason, daytime, or nighttime.

This is an extraordinary product. I've endured an itchy back on and off for about four years with little help from doctors or creams that are recommended to me. This cream gives me the relief I have been looking for. No itching at all! It did make me hot when I applied it at night so I would suggest applying it in the morning. Realize over 9,000 have left reviews and perhaps it wasn't essential to put up another one, but can't help but being super grateful and hope others will have such a tremendous result.

I love this Itch relief cream from CeraVe! It has the same active ingredient as some moisturizers you buy at the store for itching and bug bites. However, I find most of those lotions to be a bit runny, messy, and they don't dry quickly. Unlike most otc pharmacy lotions, this does not contain a steroid, so it is safe to use frequently.This cream is thick! You rub it in and instead of feeling greasy, like most things I've tried, the itch stops and your skin feels smooth, not slick. It is absorbed very quickly. A small amount applied once or twice at a time immediately gave me relief.I don't usually write reviews, but as someone with eczema, neuropathy that causes itching, and a recent allergic reaction to a medication resulting in full body hives, I thought my input might be helpful, especially if you are debating whether to try this.*Side note: Neuropathy is a nerve dysfunction disorder. This cream does not help neuropathy directly, but if you scratch constantly due to neuropathic itch, it soothes the area on the skin you've been digging at trying to scratch an itch you can't reach.Good luck!In my opinion, it's worth the money, especially if you suffer from severely dry skin or allergies.
