Great bins
Just got a pair and am pleasantly surprised at the clarity and crispness of the image . The magnification is amazing(these r my first real binocuars).Excellent pair of bins and very good value for money, they seem sturdy enough and i am happy for my 7 yr old to use them as he is mesmerised with them and has quickly learned to use them. Extremely lightweight and compact and I plan to take them on my next holiday. Would definitely recommend them .

A clear image with a decent magnification and field of view.
These are really good for the price. They seem well made with no rough edges and have a solid feeling metal case with a safety lanyard. The carry pouch with a choice of neck strap or belt loop make the binoculars easy and safe to carry with you. They fold up quite small too and are straight forward to use. It was easy to open them up to my eye width and I could use the focus without any difficulty. Even a free lens wipe is included. I have to give the product top marks for value. If you want to carry something light but effective when out walking, I recommend these.

On the slightly heavy side
The binoculars are excellent for my wife's new found hobby of bird watching. the eye pads fold back to allow use with glasses. Focus range is ideal for her. The only (and I repeat....only) draw back is they are slightly heavy to hold up for extended periods of time but she is getting used to this.

Good quality at a low price
Just took these binoculars to Spain for a bird watching trip and they were perfect. Very pleased.

Clear, functional, excellent
Bought these to replace a pair of '10-30' zoom binoculars that were picked up at a similar price to these, but that were never aligned, blurred, low field of view and really no good at all. These on the other hand, with minimal dioptre adjustment, are excellent. Comparing directly to my old pair, I see more, it's clearer, and for a change (for me anyway, at this price) I can get a clear binocular view using both eyepieces simultaneously. What a treat :)16x for me at this weight is great - no issues with stability. Focus wheel is fine, eye relief all good. Very pleased.Almost docked a star because, like other reviewers mention, the lens caps are too loose and have fallen off a dozen times already. I will eventually lose them, guaranteed.Case is exactly what you'd expect at this price, soft but perfectly usable.

Excellent binoculars
Excellent binoculars, use them for bird watching and such stuff when out walking. Lightweight easy to use and robust. Great magnification and image clarity. A real bargain in my opinion

Barrels misaligned
I've followed all instructions re focusing and adjusting the diopter, and can focus SEPARATELY for each barrel/eye but the problem is the barrels are not looking at the same thing - they're misaligned or mispositioned. I looked closer and realised one barrel has a slight gap at its join (one side only and not on the other barrel) where it's been screwed on or perhaps been damaged in assembly, anyway they are visibly/obviously misaligned and mispositioned (ie assembly issue NOT a focusing/adjustment issue). I can't return them to the manufacturer as I travel a lot and am away now in the Southern Hemisphere where I wanted to use them. Dud product therefore, very upset, and wish I had not bought this brand now. PS. The SINGLE eye focus is amazing though - powerful. I guess I just have a telescope.

Loose Lens Cap
Now I know £40+ for a set of Bins is cheap to some experts out there. I myself am not an expert. I merely wanted some binoculars to see my 80year old neighbour Deidrie in her negligee. The HD detail these Bins provided I was soon perched inside my neighbours tree holding the bins with one hand whilst moving the plums out the way with the other. Due to the 16x zoom I was struggling to hold the image still and maybe should have considered 12x zoom instead. The Bins aren’t too heavy to hold with one hand but I do think after a short while your arms would hurt. Maybe if I used both hands to steady the image on a branch things may only would have been a bit more steady. There’s a lovely little screw thing at the front of the bins which I believe is for a tripod. I hope it’s for a tripod and not for something more shady like night vision.Anyway after getting a full HD image of Diedrie who I found out was an old bloke with long hair and a tash (who’s into some bizarre things) I quickly added the lens caps on the lenses and shimmied down a vomit soaked tree back into the comfort of my own home. That’s when I noticed a lens cap missing. Eventually finding the cap I realised the lens cover for the right hand lens is extremely poor. Must be 1mm too big that it just slides on and off without any effort. The left lens is better but slides off with very little effort. The lens covers for the eye things fit perfectly. Price wise I do believe it’s good value and the image is extremely clear. It’s just a shame about the lens cap. To sum up my experience with these binoculars; Diedrie (or her husband for the fact) have a lovely picture on their bedroom wall of a cat so my next venture is buying the exact same one.NB: The bins were actually bought for aircraft spotting and nothing else. The real facts added to the review; the lens cover issue, the 16x being possibly too magnified and 12x possibly better for spotting, the weight and using 2 hands to steady (I use the car roof), and the crispness of the image. Seem a decent pair of budget binoculars. It’s just a shame the lenses covers are rather loose fitting and could possibly end up being lost when not in use.
