El Chorro (Rockfax Climbing Guide Series)

Great Guide to a Wonderful Climbing Venue
After seven or eight climbing trips to this wonderful place, there's still masses of routes to do out there and, even though the grades are occasionally a bit off, I can't imagine a better way of finding out about them than this - a terrific job! Format has great clarity and, even when topos are used instead of photos, it is superbly illustrated throughout. What's more, it's being updated online and the next edition will, I'm sure, be just as impressive, if only because it will have evolved from this one.

Pay attention to the topos
Good guide and generally offers great information. I put 4 stars just because it uses pictures to indicate the routes on the rock. This can confuse a lot as reality at the moment of your visit might be completely different from the picture. It needs some time and attention before you reach or you find the exact route that you want to climb. Moreover, the routes in El Chorro don't have the names written on the rock so, you need more time to figure out which route is which. Overall, one of the best guides that I've used regarding the information provided!

Classic rock climbing guide
The classic guide for rock climbing. Haven't tested in the field yet, I think the area has had some changes/additions since the guide came out.
