Had this in my TBR KU library for ages before I got around to reading it because I kept getting by distracted and now I’m mad I waited so long. Loved it from start to finish, couldn’t put it down

A gorgeous story. An easy read and further proof of how real men will never come close to the fictional ones we read about and swoon over. Easton Blake certainly captured my heart. Loved everything about him and Maya. Would definitely recommend this book.

The books I have read from this author previously were darker. This book was a romance and there was so little of the meetings between her brother that I don't think I'd call it much of a rivalry. The plot is fairly straight forward with Maya swearing off Hockey played and Easton being the perfect boyfriend and wooing her with perfect lines and actions. This book was a nice gentle read but just lacked the tension and dilemma that I usually enjoy.

New book, new series… and a HOCKEY romance 🥰🥰 I’m currently on a hockey reading kick. This one is sweeter than what I’ve previously read, but loved it just the same. It’s a smooth read, no major angst between the characters (Maya & Easton).I would say I would have loooooved for a Weiner KO on the ice or something but that’s just me 😅🤣Excited to see what else VE has in store for us.

Maya, I do love and admire her! She is so strong and fearless!Easton and Maya are so great together, even fate makes them keep meeting up! He is already so obsessed with her, despite no relationship or anything, but he does respect her boundaries with having her phone number.While it may have been love at first sight for him, and no other girl would stand in her place. Maya knows what she is worth and doesn’t want to be second to a hockey career or to another hockey star.I loved how persistent Easyon was, getting the team to where she works! At least he has initiative to improve himself, not just woo his girl. Maya was so surprised to see them, even Easton cuddling a goat! It may have started some feelings!While it may have taken a while to the spice, it was so freaking hot! Holy wowzers! Hot hot hot!! Even the phone spice!! Even while they start dating, they are so cute and adorable.Easton is such a good book boyfriend, he takes her out to vent and escape, is such a fiercely protective guy over her. They are so perfect together. What other guy would watch Korean rom coms with you?I love the whole hockey team dynamic, i can’t wait for all their stories.Easton is definitely up there as a good book boyfriend. He’s perfect!!

From the excerpt I read on an advert, I wanted this book... Diving in I became absolutely addicted!! This story covers so much content, it brings up so many emotions and is beautifully put together.I am pulling for more books from this world!! A few of the supporting characters grabbed my attention too.In the meantime I'm off to find some other books by this author

This is a new author for me but one that I will definitely be reading more from.Easton and Maya are incredibly sweet together.I loved how their friendship grew and their relationship began stronger over time.I'm so happy there wasn't a third act break-up, but I would have liked a little more tension from the brother/ex-boyfriend situation.I love that the team is a second family for everyone, and I can't wait to see what other stories come from all the teammates.

It’s is suck an amazing book. It’s so spicy but it’s also full of so much love and understanding and patience. I was mine blown bc this book gave me so much more than I ever thought I wanted!! Please read this amazing book.

The book was filled with sweetness of Easton's care and surprises of Maya to show her support for Easton which I loved and we can't forget that along with the sweetness this book was loaded with their spice and spicy romance

Best book boyfriend ever created. Cocky, hot, sensitive, supportive, loyal, strong, successful, you name it. That boy got it. I am not one to swoon easily. Bad cover though and no audiobook - why?
