Much better than melatonin
Zarbee’s Gentle Bedtime has been a game-changer for my kids’ sleep routine. In the past, I tried using melatonin to help them wind down, but it often backfired. If they were overtired, it made them delirious and inconsolable, and they still struggled to sleep through the night. With Zarbee’s Gentle Bedtime, it’s a completely different story. This product seems to have a much gentler effect. My kids are noticeably more relaxed after taking it, and they fall asleep without the fuss. More importantly, they stay asleep, which is a huge relief for both them and me. The ingredients, including chamomile and lavender, seem to work in harmony to create a calming bedtime experience without the harsh side effects we experienced with melatonin.I’ve also noticed that other parents have had similar experiences. One mentioned that their toddler, who used to wake up multiple times a night, now sleeps soundly until morning. Another pointed out that their child wakes up more refreshed, without the grogginess that sometimes accompanies other sleep aids.Overall, Zarbee’s Gentle Bedtime is a fantastic alternative to melatonin. It provides a much-needed solution for parents seeking a natural way to help their kids sleep better, without the worry of unpredictable side effects.

A calming bedtime routine helper
These have become a regular part of our evening wind-down. My little one actually asks for them — the flavor is kid-approved and they are melatonin free. I love that Zarbee’s uses natural ingredients without all the junk. They help take the edge off on restless nights without causing grogginess in the morning. She also stays asleep, without wake-ups!

Aggression
These worked as far as helping my son calm down and get to sleep. However, I chose these because my son has autism, has trouble calming for bedtime and Melatonin makes him aggressive. It takes him a week to calm down from one 1mg melatonin. I gave him 2 of these gummies over a 3 night span (skipped a night between) and it was horrendous. It was a week or more before he regulated from these.I am leaving this review incase any other parent has the same issue with melatonin and aggression. This one isn't the answer. He also hated the taste of them.

I WAS skeptical
My oldest has struggled with sleep since he was 3-4 (maybe younger) years old. I mean, to the point we were both in tears every night. That’s when I discovered melatonin and it worked like a charm for him. We talked to our pediatrician, and she said melatonin was fine and that sometimes kids just need the extra help. However, he is 9 now and still needs to every night (ADHD probs.) I know there is much debate about melatonin for kids and whether it is harmful or not. But I figured, if we could find something to take small breaks from melatonin or replace altogether that works, then why not?I’ve tried another brand of melatonin-free gummies and they didn’t work at the time. So, we went back to melatonin. However, I decided to give it another shot with Zarbees. I was skeptical to say the least after my last experience. However, It’s only the second night, but honestly, I’m impressed. They actually work for my kiddo. So, here is my pros & cons.Pros:- Actually worked - however, everyone’s body chemistry is different. If your kiddo doesn’t react the same way with these, try another brand with maybe some different ingredients.- I didn’t try them, but my kids didn’t complain about the taste, so I am going to assume they tasted alright.- Seem to get good sleep, uninterrupted and woke up ready for the dayCons:- Small bottle/quantity - it only comes with 30 and for ages 7+ they need 2 gummies. With this and melatonin, I always try to give half the dose and see if that works enough. The first night I only gave him one, but the 2nd night he needed 2. If you do the max dose, that’s enough for only 15 days.- Price - $12 for a bottle of 30 gummies seems a little overpriced to me. Granted, I know it’s a name brand and it works, so I am going to keep buying it. BUT you better believe if I find a cheaper option that works just as well, I will not be buying this.- I do notice that this seems to take longer to “kick in” versus melatonin. It’s not an excruciatingly long time, but definitely do it an hour before bed.Hope this helps some parents out there who struggle at bedtime ❤️

Not effective for my littles
2 stars only because my kids like the taste of these, but they don’t appear to be effective to calm them down for bedtime.

Disappointed
Why did you pick this product vs others?:My 3 year old ate these 1 time and never again. He cried every time I offered it after that. He said they didn't taste good. I didn't try them myself, but he's probably right. They had a very medicinal odor, like cough syrup. I can't comment on the effectiveness.
