Super soft!
I ordered the gymnastics blanket. It is extremely soft and not very heavy. It will be fine for taking to meets. I am going to steam it before hand because it comes compressed and the pile on the dark colors shows white, because it was so wrinkled. I'm hoping this will help. Overall, I know the girl I am giving this to will be thrilled.

Disappointing
I bought the gymnastics blanket for an 8 year old girl. I came close to returning it but I was talked into keeping it. It’s very thin, cheap quality. It doesn’t have the weight of a nice throw.
