Children's Sterling Silver Hand-Engraved Heart Locket Necklace, 15"

Disclaimer: I purchased this item knowing the miniscule size of it with the intentions to purchase a small/tiny locket. Those looking to buy a locket you might actually want to put clear/large photos in, look elsewhere. I'm 18 and I wanted a small little pendant that could possibly function as a place to put little dried flowers in. The detailed etching is very pretty and I'm very happy with the size. The chain is choker length and it does seem to be rather fragile so I plan to replace it. I'm not exactly sure how to go around prying the plastic cover slips off (hope I don't lose them they're tiny and clear). The units in the pictures are in cm.UPDATE (2 weeks later)I didn't put dried flowers in it, but I did put pictures in it! I used an online photo resize tool so it wouldn't look blurry when shrunk, and removed the plastic covers with a pin. They're not pictures of people or animals, rather they're pictures of a voice recording and little penguins for different sentimental reasons. They look good however, and it is possible to stick photos in this tiny thing.

My daughter had been dying to get a locket. I bought an inexpensive one (under $20) that broke and also it wouldn't stay closed. Much more like costume jewelry. However, when this one arrived it was a fantastic surprise. The picture posted is exactly what it looks like. Yes, it's small, but that is what I wanted for a little girl. I read reviews that said it was tiny, but I would think a big bulky woman-sized locket would almost detract from the effect. She loves it! I had to convince her to keep it in her jewelry box at night (instead of trying to wear it to bed). The engraving and the weight are quality. The chain is basic and I will probably swap it out to another one that I really like once she gets taller, but for now, it's perfect. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase. Now just waiting for her to figure out which pictures she wants placed in the locket.

Small silver heart locket is absolutely beautiful! It IS small as other have mentioned, however the necklace is exactly what I was looking for. It is ideal for young girls. I am using it for 2 flower girls in a wedding. The quality is exquisite. The etching is crisp, clear and lends a little touch of sparkle. A photo can be put inside, however it would require using a computer and photo application to shrink to the size needed. I am placing a few lavender buds inside as it is perfect for our "flower girls".

I ordered this locket for my 7 year old granddaughter. It is a beautiful piece. The etching on it is expertly done and I really liked the look of it. But it should be labeled "mini locket" as it is too small for a 7 year old. This locket could be worn by an infant but definitely not for a child over 2 years old. I returned it and ordered a larger one. The return was easy and Amazon refunded my money immediately.

I ordered this as a gift for my wife and it is super small, really about the size of a penny, which is great she loves petite small jewelry like this. Really can't fit any kind of picture in it, but that is alright, its really just for looks. The silver looks really great and polished, very beautiful. I was very satisfied with this and my wife loved it.

Beautiful little necklace for a young girl. We were able to use their template to cut and fit two photos without any problems, and appreciate the covers that hold the photos in place.

I bought this from my great granddaughter's first birthday and the heart like it is beautiful – I am very pleased with the quality. I bought the same necklace for my other great granddaughter's first birthday three years ago - I was especially pleased that it is made in the USA !!

Lovely silver heart, quite small and delicate. Exactly what I wanted for our grand daughter. Arrived ahead of schedule in excellent condition. I am very pleased.
