Does everything my phone does except text and make calls
The item description page for this item is LONG! But all the claims made about what this mp3 player offers seem to be true (some claims are repeated 3 times, which is what makes the page so long.) I did about a week of research on mp3 players to see what options were available, decide which of those were important to me, and read reviews for my final choices. The reviews were all comparable, so you'll need to compare reviews for your final choices as well. But I can speak to the options. The storage on this thing is a massive SD CARD, which you can remove. So you can conceivably upgrade to an even more massive card down the road if you need to. I use this for music, so I can't imagine running out of space. But if you intend to use it for videos, you might need an upgrade. I have close to 2500 songs on it, and they take up 20 gigs of the 125 gig card. The internal storage is a different story. The unit has 16 gigs of internal storage, which is where the apps reside. It comes with the standard bloatware already pre-loaded, many apps of which do the same things. It has at least 2 different mp3 file players, and you don't need both. I prefer the Musicolet app because you can easily create playlists and search by any criteria imaginable, like song, artist ,album, date added, date released, genre, etc. I deleted all the apps I won't need to save space. But another plus for me was that you can add apps: not all mp3 players have this option. It has internet connectivity via wi-fi, as well as bluetooth. And unlike phones now, a headphone jack. Even though the bluetooth has thus far proven to be incredibly stable, sometimes I just want to plug in and go.All the buttons are easy to reach for one handed operation, and the touch screen seems very responsive. The built in speaker is tiny, so no surprise, you won't be listening to your music through that. But it is acceptable for voice recorder playback. The microphone is surprisingly good. The internet download speed is good, so you aren’t waiting on songs to download. To download the bulk of my library the first time, I put the SD card on the reader on my computer and downloaded it en masse, which took over an hour, but that will vary based on your card read/write speed and your connection port.Lastly, the quality seems excellent. The battery lasts all day if I'm using it, but I leave it on standby mode when not in use and the battery will definitely not last 30 hours as they claim. The unit comes with a clear cover and screen protector already installed, a nice detail. I make note of this because I didn't realize it already had screen protection and ordered screen protectors. I have not used the music streaming feature, so I can't speak to that, but the internet connection is stable on wi-fi, so I doubt there would be any problems. Overall, this player had all the features I wanted, at a reasonable price point, and got good reviews. Having had it over a month, I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Google Play Store works!
Purchased this device with the Google Play store in mind. This one seemed to be a very easy set up, Google Play already installed on the device. I use YouTube Music mostly, so Google Play was a deciding factor for me when deciding which mp3 player to pick. This device works great, it can be a little on the slow side, but not unbearable, definitely manageable.-Quality, I like the mp3 players build quality. Buttons are where they should be, buttons to Skip Song, Go Back to the last Song, Pause/Play button, volume buttons, and there's even a screen lock button on the side, ensuring you won't accidentally press other buttons while the device is in your pocket. By holding down the Next Song and Last Song buttons, you can rewind/fast forward a song by 5-10 second intervals. I found this to be a nice touch. Headphone jack, basic pair of wired earbuds included. Also included is a data transfer cable. Used to transfer songs/files via the usb port. Speakers work well for such a small device. Bluetooth works good, I've had slight interference issues using Bluetooth earbuds but it's only ever for a few seconds and then doesn't happen again for a while.-Performance. Device works well, a little slow to start up, and occasionally when navigating. Apps work well, as intended. My Playlists work fine, downloaded songs from YouTube music work great, I haven't tried to download actual music files onto the device. Android operating system. Older version but it works very well. Cannot complain much.-Value for $. This mp3 player was definitely on the more expensive side, around $65-70 at the time of purchase, maybe even a few dollars more. I associated the cost with the free-form factor of being able to access the Google Play store right out of the box, and on a device that would serve me well for some time. So far so good.-Battery Life. Battery works great, can listen to music for several hours before needing to recharge. Standby mode, and the device when turned off, saves battery a great deal. I can return to my mp3 after weeks of no use, and still be close to where I left off. Also features an Auto-off function that can be customized. Which is great when you forget to power down the device, you can set different time frames for the player to shut down automatically, preventing uncessary Battery loss. Conclusion: If you have a few extra dollars to spare I definitely recommend this product. If you are a tech savvy person, computers are easy for you, and you know how to transfer mp3 files with ease, a cheaper option might be the way to go. If I had my own music files, I would have purchased the most basic device. But because my desire was for Google Play included out of the box, a semi-recent Android OS, good battery life, ease of use, this device was the one for me.
