Not that useful
I found the strap to be slippery when tying to the footboard. Took multiple knots to keep it from slipping. The "rung" are just made of the strap material therefore using it hand over hand, rung by rung to pull yourself up doesn't work. Disappointing. Was like trying to pull yourself up with a rope.

Strong but handles split.
Works as designed but the hand grips split easily. Used medical tape to reinforce them and then they were usable. Strength is good. Length is good.

Very solid and adjustable. You can put it on either side of the bed, the height is good. If you prefer to make it super solid, you can screw it down or zip tie it to the frame. Comfortable and easy to use.

An elderly person could actually get their head caught between bars!! Do NOT reccomend!
Do NOT buy for elderly patient!!! They can EASILY get their head caught in between the ladder pieces and could cause a danger! Would NOT recommend and returned.
