Fantastic telly; all-singing, all-dancing; great picture quality and colours; even colour saturation etc. It's easy to navigate through programs, extras, apps etc and it boasts a lot of great features. My only beef is the big, bulky and as far as I’m concerned unsightly ‘hub’ but that aside I highly recommended this product.

Great tv excellent picture and sound.

I am using this as a monitor in my office to connect various work station PCs by way of a KVM switch.And I am very pleasantly surprised at the good looks and great picture quality.Software and Connectivity:As with most modern "smart" TVs, the menu is idiotic, the aggressive features are obnioxious and there is no display port. That said, I was able to connect NVDIA RTX A4000 and A2000 GPUs with an active DP1.4 to HDMI2.1 converter just fine. And if you are prepared to walk through the clunky menue to shut up all the pop up generating apps and bloatware features, you'll be rewarded with excellent value for money. You'll only have to do it once, the S95B remembers your setting.Picture:The OLED protection features, such as auto-dimming, are mild-mannered and in my experience actually quite pleasant to work with, as this panel is very bright! You'll learn to appreciate "dark mode" in apps.(Hey Amazon: where is your dark mode?). You also might want to dial the brightnes back a notch.Out of the box, the picture quality is anywhere between horrible and abysmal for some reason. As if a 3 year old had fiddled with the colour and contrast settings. So be prepared to sepnd some time calibrating the picture.Setup:The setup process is as obnoxious and clunky as most software these days. It force feeds you the sign-up for all manner of user accounts (including Samsung's own) and a plethora of voice assistants (including Samsung's), and skipping past these isn't straight forward.The sound output is rubbish but will do in a pinch. I am using a high-end two channel audiophile stereo system, which is arguably a bit niche. But I would expect most people buying this TV to have at least a decent, consumer-grade surround sound system. My recommendation would therefore be to not bother too much about the sound of a TV.Features:I never watched television on the S95B so I cannot speak to the TV-related features as such. But what I can tell you is that once you shut up Alexa and friends, disable the aggressive pop-up generating features you won't need and properly configure the S95B, it really shines!Day to day operations:Its clean lines make for stunning looks. The panel is extremely thin with a brushed aluminium finish, and the base, which completely hides all cables, tidies up your desktop. Unlike most modern monitors and TVs, the S95B takes mere seconds to display a picture (Gigabyte's OLED gaming monitor takes so long you won't be able to see the boot menu). Consequently, switching between KVM sources is a breeze with the S95B and significantlky improved work flow.Conclusion:So all in all, I am very pleased and can highly recommend Samsung's S95B as a monitor for productivity.

So I primarily wanted a TV to get the most out of the new generation of consoles, and after the usual googling and prevaricating (it was between the S95 and the QN95) I decided on this one as all the official reviews stated it was better for gaming, and, being OLED, far greater in dark rooms, which is also better for playing games.That being said, the picture is great in any light, but boy does the black on this TV look, well, black. Pitch black. I believe the TV is smart enough to turn off the pixels in order to give you the blackest black, and it seems to work.So with four 2.1 HDMI ports you can easily make the most and get the best out of new tech, including - in relation to gaming - VRR, ALLM and of course, true 4k and 120fps.It’s amazing, combined with eye-popping clarity of the TV’s quantum dot technology, it truly makes games look better than ever. Try Horizon FW on balanced setting, which gives you a fixed 120fps, or even on native 4k, which thanks to the VRR still manages close to 60fps.You can track info like this via the smart remote, with just a touch of a button you can enter the gaming menu, where you check fps, change specific gaming features, like HDR and dynamic blacks. It also has pre-settings based on the genre of game you’re playing, RPG, FPS, RTS, etc, all interchangeable in real time.Sound is also brilliant, effective 3d, with some good bass. It can distort a little on louder settings, but isn’t too distracting.It’s all incredibly easy to assemble and set-up, and in no time at all you’ll have that unbeatable feeling of making a truly great choice.One downside, and will probably be the reason I won’t purchase a similar item from Amazon in the future: the delivery guy. He was alone, so struggled manoeuvring a 55 inch TV by himself, almost dropped it twice, and when I told him to be careful lest I refuse receipt, he was less than polite, and barely helped me get it in the house; just left it straddling the porch threshold. Ordering similar items in the past from other reputable retailers has always resulted in two people delivering it and a helpful offer of taking it to the room of my choice. No such luck here. That’s no blemish on the product, but something to bare in mind when you’re spending this amount of money.So if, like me, you think it too early for 8k, then this TV could be for you. The quantum dot tech truly transcends the 4k experience to give you an intensely sharp, smooth, eye-popping picture when watching movies or gaming. Highly recommended.
