Works great!!
We have needed to replace the bulb on our Samsung DLP TV for quite some time, we didn't replace the bulb because it was so expensive to buy in the stores. I had the idea to check on Amazon and I am very glad that I did!! This bulb is 75% cheaper on Amazon, it was easily $50- $75 in the store! We were a little nervous that the bulb just wouldn't work, but after receiving it and putting it into our TV, I can say that it works great!! You really can't tell the difference between the old name brand one we had and the cheaper, generic bulb. (My husband is very picky about his tvs and electronics and he is fine either this bulb).I'm very happy with the picture on the TV and I'm even happier with the price of the bulb!! I would definitely buy this bulb again!!!

Extremely disappointed and it happens right before the western conference finals ...
I received this item on Mar 21, 2018 and it started to work periodically after cutting my television on and off a minimum of ten times. Now it does not work at all. I didn't have this item two months before having problems with it. If amazon is going to sell these type of items, the consumer should be able to send it back beyond a 30 day period. This is a lamp that allows the picture to be seen on a television. It should not have to be replaced every couple of months. The previous bulb I purchased lasted more than three years. Extremely disappointed and it happens right before the western conference finals finale. Now the NBA finals start on Thursday and I will be without my 60 inch television. This sucks!!!

I Have Doubts
The lamp I received does not fit tightly into its housing, whereas the old lamp had a very snug fit. The lamp actually rattles around in the housing when you move it, but I installed it anyway and it seems to work fine. I was concerned that it would affect the angle of the lamp inside the TV but the picture is good so I'm keeping it. Seems like a low quality product with a very nice price (relative to other options).

Easy to install, and seems to be getting less expensive...
I've had to buy three light bulbs over thee life of my Samsung 50+" wide-screen TV (it's at least six years old and is still working fine).I guess this SHOULD be a review whose purpose is to convince you to buy a good, effective power strip., but the first time wasn't the strip's fault...if you read about Mineral, Virginia's earthquake over a year ago, this was one of its more minor victims. (A high school and elementary school are now in the process of being demolished and replaced.)As I said, we were one of its more minor victims...we live about eight miles from the epicenter and some plates broke, our molding now has some gaps in it, and our beautiful color TV picture lost its integrity and began to make a loud hum. When I replaced the bulb the first time, it was about $100. (Incidentally, the repair job was easy for me to do, and I'm no genius. Don't get an electrician...not for this TV line, at least. Just use your common sense, unplug the TV, unscrew the back panel, and replace the light.)The TV was perfect until a few months ago when a lightning bolt hit right outside the house. (We live on a small farm.)When I bought the bulb again it was about $50 I have no idea why it dropped. The repair again, was a breeze.I bought two this time...I wanted to be prepared. I just checked, and the bulb is even cheaper...at the time of this review, it's $37.I have no idea why, but it's a great trend. Keep it up, Electrified!

So far so good
I purchased this item about a month ago and installed it myself. Since my exact model of TV wasn't on the "supported" list from Electrified, I emailed their support and within 24 hours they verified that model was supported. Fairly easy to install once I slid the TV out to work on it. Removing screws, lining up the connectors, etc. The new housing fit right in to the TV and worked fine right away. The images are bright again and no problems so far. Hopefully this bulb will last a few more years until I can go 3D/HD or whatever the next thing is.

Worked as advertised
Installation:Arrived intact. I used it to replace a BP96-00608A lamp in a Samsung HLP-5063W. Slid onto the rails inside the TV fine, but it required a little more force than I expected to get it fully seated (maybe the power connector was designed to be snug). Also, I had to be careful of a couple wires that kept getting in the way when putting the back panel on the TV again.Function:The lamp worked the first time with no problems and has been functioning fine for about 20 hrs so far. I think the picture is better and brighter than with the old lamp, but I need to re-watch some recent movies to make a more accurate comparison with the old lamp.Other:While I didn't feel like paying more for a Samsung brand replacement lamp, I give Samsung credit for the quality of their original lamp. It seemed to be too dim lately, but that old lamp was 7 yrs old and has a minimum of 10,000 hrs on it (probably as much as 14,000 hrs).

SAMSUNG REPLACEMENT LAMP
I have bought replacement lamp before directly from a vendor that didn't work properly once installed. The colors on my tv screen were out of focus and the tv will shut off in the middle of watching it. Finally the lamp just died. So this time I bought my lamp from Amazon.com. This product worked without any problem at all. It is easy to install and came with its own screw to secure the housing after sliding it back into its slot in the back of the tv. Since I installed it, picture and color looks great and tv never shuts off in the middle of watching it.

Don't buy from Electrified
This lamp is guaranteed for only 5 months and then only lasted 6. The item isn't listed as a generic lamp but it is and Electrified claimed that generic lamps only last 8 months to a year. Their answer leaves the begging question: "Why buy from Electrified." You'd think if you are replacing a lamp it's going to last for 3000 hours. You don't want to keep replacing a lamp every 6 months. The TV sat dead because we thought the problem was something else. Not a nearly new lamp.

If you want to be scammed, shop here.
I bought this product back a few months ago. Within 2 months my light blew on my TV. So I contacted them, and they would replace it; but after I spent my own money to send back the old one (large chunk of the purchase price). They would ship me off my light as soon as I gave them a tracking number, so I gave them the tracking number. A few weeks later and still no light (takes only a couple days). So I contact them again; Only then did they send the light, no apologies for the inferior product that will most likely blow in the next month or 2 anyways, and no apologies for promising to send me my light once I had the tracking number and me having to hunt them down again. I gave them 2 stars only because it did actually come (after all this fighting). I will not only NEVER buy another product from this company, but I am here to warn you about their practices. Don't let them scam you too.
