Easy to put to gather and definitely good value for the money.

This wtd tool is made of thick aluminum and has an attractive matte black finish, with a nice stand. The wires are placed in the perfect configuration for removing clumps and air from your portafilter, it also comes with extra wires. My only complaint is that no instructions are included and assembly is required, it was simple to figure out but instructions would still be nice.

Does what it needs to do, though I wish to top part fit better onto the base. Either a minimal screw top or a magnet. The needles need to be pushed together to get them in the base; that’s not ideal. A wider opening would help. They are all like this, so the issue here isn’t particular to this specific item.

Used to make sure that the coffee in a portafilter doesn't have any lumps. Works as described. Well made device.

I got caught up in watching expresso videos after purchasing my Breville and this looked like it was a must for ensuring the absolute best cup of expresso. I used it several times and couldn't tell a difference. Honestly, when you tamp your pod prior to extracting the rich flavors from the beans, this in itself will ensure a well balanced and smooth extraction. BUT, if you want to create a mess and add extra time with absolutely zero impact on the quality of the expresso shot, this item is for you! As stated in the title, it is for the coffee elites who like to feel good about themselves and their ability to make a shot. Nothing wrong with that. Lots of fluff in this product. More for show than anything else. I use mine now to scratch my Labrador retriever behind her ears . She loves this tool and I feel like a canine elite!

The quality of this tool is "not amazing", I would say.Pros:The needles are... fine? Probably? Its nice that there are a few extras, haven't had one break on me yet.Seems easy enough to clean, just wipe the needles against a paper towel.It does, indeed, distribute the grounds when swirled around.Cons:The tool fits together poorly. Resting in the stand it has a tendency to lean crooked.I legitimately do not know what purpose the silicone pad serves. The pad is smaller diameter than the inside of the tool, and falls in between the needles after insertion. You can hear it rattle inside the tool.Weird design. The brand is "WDT Tool", but the stand wants the larger end down. The logo on the stand this way is upside down.Pretty pricey for what it is, yet feels cheap.

Instead of breaking up clumps, this seems to just push coffee around inside of the basket. I removed all but three of the needles and got better results. The needles are just in too dense of a pattern.

You get what you pay for it’s super weak and cheap
