perfect and work great. my radio is the kenwood 709s. i have tried the knock off versions in the past and at best can olny get volume to work. This kenwood remote does it all

Bulky universal remote
This remote is very bulky and it's a universal remote so many buttons do not apply to a Kenwood DMX head unit.RC-406 is a smaller remote with all the essential buttons working on the newer Kenwood head units.
