Stronger, healthier nails with a salon-quality finish
Bought this to help repair and strengthen weak nails after years of gel manicures. What I like• Actually hardens soft, peeling nails after a few uses• Can be worn alone or under polish—very versatile• Applies like a regular polish and dries quicklyWhat could be better• Needs regular reapplication to maintain results• Pricey for the small bottle sizeBottom line: Reliable go-to for reviving thin, damaged nails. Perfect for anyone trying to grow stronger nails naturally, but look at Sally Hansen Hard As Nails if you want a cheaper alternative.

Must-Have Nail Product! Definitely Worth It!
Nail Envy is the best nail treatment! I feel like it is the "lotion" of nail polish. It dries fast and makes my nails stronger. It also hides all the dead stuff I can't get to, any discoloration I may have (I get that in my toenails, so I use "Nail Envy" on my feet AND hands)! If I could only take ONE nail product with me on a deserted island- this would be it!!One of my all-time favorite products!

Perfect clear-pink
I recently had French tips painted onto my natural nails at a salon. This polish is what the tech used for the pink. I wanted a natural nail color, not the opaque or very pink colors I've seen used by other salons. She said this would look natural and was a strengthening polish too.I think the color is perfect! It's very, very slightly pink but in the bottle, it's see thru hot pink. That's deceiving because as you can see in the picture, it's not hot pink at all. I do construction for a living and though I wear gloves moat of the day, my hands and nails get dry and sometimes the nails get brittle and break. I've used this for 2 weeks and so far no breaking. The polish is high shine so if you're looking for a matte finish, keep hunting. I feel like as hard on my hands/nails as I am due to my line of work, the polish holds up really well for the better part of a week, and though it's clear, I do see some chipping at the tips of my nails after about a week. Once I removed the polish the nail tech initially painted on, I felt my nails were truly strengthened which is what prompted me to buy the polish so I could keep up on keeping my nails healthy.

First week of use
First pic is April 22, 2024, before any nail envy. Second pic is April 23, the day I first applied. Third pic is April 29.I’d been getting my nails done with gel X in October to stop biting them. It got pricey and I didn’t feel like I was going to bite them anymore so I stopped getting sets in early March. My natural nails have always been weak and bendy due to biting with shortened nail beds as a result. Having gel x solved the biting and allowed my nail beds to recover and lengthen, and my nails are a lot stronger for it, but they still need a little help while the portion of my nails that had been filed down for gel x grow out. This is only 1 week of use but I think it’s helpful. It at least makes the rougher surface of the nail look smooth in a way regular polish wouldn’t. I do think it adds some structure as well. Two of my nails broke (middle and pinky) in the last week but that’s not nail envy’s fault, that’s just damage from gel x growing out.I have been maintaining them with regular filing when the edge of my nail gets scraggly even while using nail envy and I think that is helping too.Tips 1: It dries quickly, but it’s sort of deceptive - it stays malleable for a while after being dry to the touch, and if you get a wrinkle in it it WILL bubble and peel off. So even once “dry”, try not to touch anything that could mess with them for about an hour so they fully harden. I apply it when I know I’ll just be typing or doing something on my phone so I know I won’t mess with it before it cures.Tip 2: THIN layers. You want enough on the brush that you don’t have to dip back in to the bottle to get more so you can cover the nail without it being streaky, but not any more than that or it’ll stay malleable for too long.Tip 3: by the third our fourth layer, it usually bubbles after you put it on and is prone to peeling anyway, so honestly I just modify the instructions and have only been aiming to get a total of 3-4 layers on. I’m not sure how to get it to make it to a total of 8 layers (2 first day and 6 from daily applications). Oh well. I like it anyway!

Great product!
I switched to this because my nails had a lot of damage from press one and gel cures. I lather this on every day, it never looks messy, it lasts a very long time, and my nails are beautiful and longer than they have ever been. I have been using the same bottle for months so it lasts a long time too. Definitely worth it.

What Happened To You OPI?
I don’t know what OPI has done to their nail envy line but it has severely gone down hill. I have used their products for 15+ years to help recover my nails after having acrylics/ enhancements. I have never had any issues until now. I tried three different colors of the nail envy formula and all three are terrible. The pink tinted formula leaves small bubbles and divots all over the nails after they dry. By the end of the week the bubble build up is terrible, the tips had peeled up large areas and the color degraded to a blue color like you see in the movies when someone isn’t getting enough oxygen. I even applied it for a second week thinking I had stained them while doing something with my hands. Nope! It’s the polish itself changing. It was noticeable enough that my husband asked me how I hurt my nails. It was enough to catch his attention. The clear version of the formula has the same bubble/ divot issues but instead of turning a blue color, that one turns to a brownish grey color. My nails looked like a dead color. I was disgusted and quickly took it off before a full weeks application.Bubble Bath is equally terrible. Patchy, streaky and peeled something terrible.I’m not quite sure what is going on and it could just be a chemistry thing between my body and their formula but I am on the hunt for another brand that has better quality. But I will say by the amount of reviews of others reporting the same issues, OPI needs to fix this legacy line. There are too many competitors to have unstable products that you are well known for.
