Screw on cap did not fit my water carrier
The spigot on my blue reliance water carrier had broken and this has provided replacement. Only three stars however as the the the screw on cap does not fit my carrier even though it is the correct brand and size in the description. Unsure why this is but I managed to remove the old broken spigot from the original cap and use it with the new spigot.

works great on our 7 gal jugs from 10 years ago!
after leaving 2 containers in the garage in a desert area for 5 brutal summers - they cracked & technically had a successful attempt at repair & decided I didn't want to run the risk of losing half a spigot inside the container so I took a gamble the company didn't change the size of the opening over the years (10 to be exact) & when it arrived, so glad it fit!I wish they had improved on the design & figured out how to create a "dust cover" - as you see in the photo, we have to tape it up & it unfortunately leaves tape gunk after while.I'm expecting this spigot to last another 10 years! let's see...

20年間探してました（笑）。昔のことで記憶があいまいですが、本体は丈夫なのですが蛇口がすぐ破損しました。最初は工夫して使用してましたが、やがて密閉できなくなり使用しなくなりました。やっと探し当しあて、本体を無駄にすることなく満足です。

Excellent replacement for damaged original
My 5 gallon water jug with spigot fell off the back end of my truck. It was full of water and fell directly on the spigot. Needless to say the spigot was totally destroyed. I was not sure that I could find just the spigot replacement, but I found this item and am extremely pleased. I thought I needed to throw away my old jug but now it is as good as new. AAA+++

Little pricey for a plastic part
It does what it is supposed to do and that is stop water from coming out of my container unless I open the tap. The tap is a little hard to turn but a little veggie oil helped with that. It fit flawlessly so no complaints there.Just the price is a little high for such a simple replacement cap and vent cap. Hopefully, this one will last a little longer than the original éh.
