A fascinating read
I picked up this book as part of my dissertation research, without realising that the author is a leader who I have followed on LinkedIn for many years, and who’s content I have enjoyed during that period. As we move out of industry 4.0 and towards 5.0 it is interesting to read the assessments from 2018 and also to note some of the predictions throughout the book around future trends, the rise of AI, the challenges this brings, as well as how leadership is likely to evolve as the workplace dehumanises and the workplace type of employee changes. As I find myself on a continuous education path, making a career change it was heartening to see that the author recommends continual learning as a method to stay abreast with the ever changing landscape we find ourselves part of. The disruptive tech space is absolutely one to watch and I really enjoyed this read, which was both fascinating and ahead of its time.

I got Brigette four books on Amazon early this year. I am very impressed with the depth and wisdom distilled through the pages. Well done. It's slightly difficult to say which one is my favorite. They are all treasured possession for the 21st century. However, "The Future of Leadership, Rise of Automation, Robotics and Al" so far appears to be my book of the year.. It's the book for the moment. Practical, thought provoking, a book for now and the future of work. Dreams do come true, keep up the good work and "See you at the Top" Zig Ziglar.

Relevance
It’s very relevant, I like it refers to market key players, brings examples and talks about pros and cons.

Doesn't really address the issue as I see it
This book seems to wander around without really getting hold of the topic. Could have done with a lot more editing.

Great book!
Some books tinker with our minds and motivate the search for more information on subjects related to its themes.I would like to recommend this great book to all those who are interested in the subjects like the mentioned in its title. It is a dense book that provides an immersion in subjects such as AI, leadership, robotics, among others, stimulating a differentiated perception of the reality in which we live in and are submitted to.For me, a must read for computer science professionals who seek to keep up to date with a differentiated perspective of the future.

I was immediately confronted with the fact that my understanding of this field was about as poor as Jamie Dimon's understanding of bitcoin
Well, I thought I understood AI and ML. Before even reaching the half way point in the book, I was immediately confronted with the fact that my understanding of this field was about as poor as Jamie Dimon's understanding of bitcoin. Brigette Hyacinth has created a well written, very easy to understand book that takes a true educator's approach to teaching AI. Her chapter on Fintech, a topic I am currently pursuing a Masters degree in, is immediately up to date and accurate, demonstrating a deep understanding of this rapidly emerging field as well. Many times I had to recheck the publication date as her information seemed as fresh as the material in the news just yesterday and in my classes this past few weeks. I encourage anyone who plans to be around five years from now to read this book and then plan to learn more and more to prepare for the future described by this visionary with both feet firmly on the ground and a vanishing point clearly in the futures. She clearly sees the tsunami approaching and has sound ideas for the rest of us to prepare.

Excellent book. Very insightful and current
Excellent book. Very insightful and current. I was surprised just how current the data and information was. I read this book as further insight into my current section of Leadership in my MBA studies. Due to my current IT career and knowledge in this area, I wanted to explore the synergies between AI and Leadership. I found the book very engaging and a wonderful read. Thank you very much from Jaymie Mullin.
