Very powerful for its size. Light weight, easy for this beginner to use. EASY TO START!
Mugo Mugo pine... Sandy soil. Chains don't like to cut through that... I found a fist-sized *rock* grown into the bark. Not good for keeping a chain sharp!I don't know about all the complaints on starting. I mixed up E-zero fresh fuel and Husky XP+ oil, followed the *simple* directions, and had the saw running after 5 pulls (three to choke, 1 where I revved and set off the high-idle before the engine was ready, and one to re-start).For a tiny 41cc engine, this thing rips. It took about 20 minutes for the engine to loosen up and hit peak revs, but that didn't impede cutting at all (you cut at lower revs - they say 9,000, where peak RPM is 12,000ish). Half throttle seems a bit rich, but that will cool and lubricate this 2-stroke engine. I bought the special screwdriver (eitherAuto Express Splined for 2 Cycle Carburetor Adjusting for Craftsman, and More. Carb Adjustment Tool 530035560orhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UFFA68G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1will work), so I can fine-tune to the air temp.My chain dulls fast, I'm cutting into a stump, so grit in the wood. You want theStihl 2 IN 1 EASY FILE CHAINSAW CHAIN SHARPENER .325"to re-sharpen, not the drill motor diamond coated bits (which you can't control).Maintenance is *really* easy. One nut to take off to lube clutch, clean out, remove chain, check oil flow thru port. Chain bar is stiff and sturdy. Saw is smooth and relatively quiet.I really like this saw.

Very hard to start.
It was brand new and it had no compression. Very hard to start, even after I watched several videos on how to start it. Not sure if it was a lemon or if that model is like that.

Decent saw for the money
I have burned thru about 6 tanks of fuel with this saw and so far it seems like a quality saw. Its easy to start and its light weight makes it easy to use. I'm not sure about the chain oiler. The chain doesn't seem to be coated in oil but it does go thru the oil about the same rate as the gas. Overall so far I am impressed by the performance of this saw and would purchase it again.

Very Good Chainsaw
So far this is a very good chainsaw. Starts easy and runs good, cuts like crazy. I just sawed up a 15 inch diameter tree with now problems. The user manual leaves something to be desired. First off it is in 3 languages in one book, I know this is common now, but that doesn't make me like it. All the illustrations are in the front and are very small. Each has a key number and you have to turn back and forth between the illustrations and the verbiage. Luckily this in not my first chainsaw so can work with that. There is an error in the Quick start guide that would probably cause the engine to flood if followed. Step 6 of the starting sequence tell you to go directly to step 8 and I think it should be to step 7.

Had problem at first. Problem was solved.
I ordered this chainsaw new out the box. I followed instructions and it started no problem. Started using it and it worked great. Halfway through my first use, the pull cord came out and it will not start again. Tried contacting Husqvarna customer service and cannot get through. Very disappointed.Update: After having the above described problem, I contacted Amazon and my chainsaw was replaced. I've used it since then and it works great. Very smooth. Powerful. I cut down around four small/medium trees no problem. Husqvarna has redeemed themselves.

Runs really rough when cold.
I love Husqvarna saws. Not really sure what is up with this saw. It has good power, for its size/weight, once warmed up, but runs very rough for the first few minutes. Just so we are clear I own 4 chainsaws and multiple other two stoke tools and none run rough like this saw. They all start off cold and lack power. This saw is so rough it is alarming.

Quality Control Issues
This saw has caused me to lose some respect for Husqvarna. I question their quality control and especially question whoever they are sourcing carburetors from.I work on chainsaws regularly and know how to tune them. This saw would not tune correctly out of the box, starving for fuel. Being an engineer by trade I wanted to dig into the issue. I decided to pull the carb apart hoping to find a clogged fuel screen. I found a piece of glue, likely from manufacturing, stuck on one of the diaphragms. I was able to break the glue off and put it all back together. Saw ran decent but still would act as if it was starving for fuel on occasion. Not wanting to go through the hassle of shipping it back, I decided to spend the $10 and just buy a carb rebuild kit. Took the carb apart a second time to install the new parts. This is when I realized all along the carb had been missing a gasket surrounding the fuel diaphragm. This gasket was missing from the factory. I installed the missing gasket and put it back together and the saw is running like a champ now. Super frustrated I spent so much time messing with a brand new saw and sad to be questioning Husqvarna products. I have an XP from 1985 that is unstoppable, was hoping quality hadn’t dropped off. I hope this is an isolated issue.

It's got plenty of Power
Ran two tanks of gas through it today doing a few hours of cutting. The chain didn't jump off the bar once. It started easy and re-started easy. I've used many saws in my years and this one is as good as the best. Plenty of power and good balance. It does get a little heavy if you're working it above the shoulders.

Inexpensive Tough Saw
Like any good 2 stroke, keep up on your maintenance (learn how to adjust your air/fuel mix), run a good premix and this saw will not let you down. Can take the abuse of clearing all day without having to baby it. Low vibration with a relatively light power head makes for comfortable cutting. Just start and go....and maintenance!

You can't go wrong with Husqvarna!
Good quality saw and really you can't go wrong with a Husqvarna, I've always had Husqvarna chainsaws and never had one fail. The choke, fuel bulb and mechanism is well designed.

Perfect for around the home
Excellent chainsaw, another great Husqvarna product, worked right out of the box, lightweight, strong and powerful, it was between this saw and the Husqvarna 40V chainsaw, so happy I went with the gas power chainsaw.

Always have replacement parts on hand.
My husband is really happy with his chainsaw and the other parts I purchased for the Husgava. Always a good idea to have another chain, sharpening tool and what ever else I ordered for it. Very pleased!😊
