Good value.
Item has been good to have since I've had to run wires on my boat. Heats up fast and has some good attachments that are handy to use. Helps to form some professional looking connects.

Functional but lacking
I needed a hot air gun in a pinch to pop bubbles in a resin epoxy table I am working on. I ordered this unit because the Dewalt branded unit wasn't available from any vendor on Amazon at the time in new condition. I didn't want to deal with cords getting in the way while walking around the top. The HILIPE Cordless Heat Gun uses the Dewalt batteries. The unit functioned correctly but I was disappointed in the power of the blower on this unit and will be ordering the name brand unit in the near future in hopes that it is better for my intended use. I will be keeping this one for electrical shrink tube and paint work but it leaves something to be desired in the power department. I ended up using a butane torch I had laying around to finish my project.

Works great.
I only need a heat gun once in a while, and cordless is a great option, I’m typically working on trailers, or other remote things, this thing works great. Love it. Was hard to justify the full cost of the dewalt, if I was using it everyday, I would have. But this product is perfect for some one like me

Failed in less than 2 months
Product ordered mid October, delivered and starting using it before the end of October. Probably had ~30 minutes of combined use (not continuous) by early December. Failed completely December 6th. Tried multiple batteries that were fully charged and no change. Neither the fan nor the heater function any longer, there is a click when the button is pressed but that is it.Tried to review options for a replacement or refund via Amazon, and there were none. This product is only covered by Amazon for 30 days. I looked through reviews before purchasing, and there were a few reviews saying the heat gun had died quickly after purchase but I did not heed the warning. I will be looking for a quality heat gun to replace this, and I'm out the investment I put into this one.

Just received it yesterday. Used it today, it works. Don't give up your corded heat guns!!!The heat is adequate for heat shrink, don't think it would be good for heavier work.I used the Dewalt 1.3Ah battery, I'll try the larger batteries once they get here.Like I said, it works.
