Paradise Mix, Cherry-Pineapple, 8 Ounce (Packaging May Vary)

Needed this for Christmas cookies I was making and could not find it locally. It was exactly what I needed and came right to my door. I was very happy because I really wanted to make these cookies to remember my mom who had passed recently. Well sealed, perfect size, smelled and tasted great. Nice and moist like they should be. Very happy with product.

Great flavors, but I have a gripe about how hard the pineapple chunks are. You are cutting too close to the core and leaving us with the hard part. Otherwise this would be a 5-star review.

I went to my local grocery store to pick up some candy cherries to make cookies for Christmas. They no longer carried the product, which is one of the most used during Christmas time cooking. I had it within 24 hours and I went on the baking.

Been using this stuff all my life to make my grandma’s Franklin Nut Cake, which is transcendently amazing. In recent years, it has become increasingly harder to find in the grocery store and more expensive. A few years ago the only thing I could even find was the mix with citron, which worked but changed the flavor profile in non-desirable ways. So I started ordering this mix at Amazon. The flavor is the same as always but it’s mostly pineapple. So the buyer-beware warning is that if you actually want equal amounts of green cherries, red cherries, and pineapple, this isn’t your product. Buy them separately. They even started coloring some of the pineapple to look like the cherries, which feels deceptive to me. Summary - it will work, but a little disappointed.

Yummy combo of red & green cherries and candied pineapple. Just enoigh for the 2 lg. White fruitcakes I plan to bake with them.
