Beck/Arnley 042-1818 Air Filter

Half the price of OEM from the Dealership and takes less than 5-minutes to swap yourself.I went all around town looking for this and couldn't find anything comparable anywhere except for Pep Boys. (For something like $50 I think.)Then I found this on Amazon for about half the price of the OEM part from the Dealership parts counter. Works just fine on my 2012 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite. Now I just order one every 6+ months when the Maintenance Minder tells me I need one, and then keep it in the car when I bring it in for an Oil Change. (Sometimes the guys at the dealership will swap it for free if the part is sitting in the car. Otherwise, I just change it myself.)

I just got this and installed it. Nothing is easy, per se, but this seemed about as easy as you can get. Fit perfectly -- that's the main thing. The filter material looks like its high quality, but what do I know?Be sure to check your fit with a flash light -- everything under the hood that is plastic is black and difficult to see. I had some trouble getting one corner of the enclosure back in place. It appears a technician at the oil change place broke the plastic tab that holds that inside rear corner. Argh! Be careful not to do that to yours when you put it back together. Honda plastic parts in the engine compartment are pretty flimsy and don't fit all that well.

The quality of the filter is great, dimension is perfect. The quality of the frame seems to matche the OEM product in terms of the strength and the weight also is comparable. It is cheaper than the other alternatives available in Amazon. I did not buy those because of some negative reviews and the dimensions did not match well with the OEM version.One difference I found is in the gasket around the frame. The quality does not feel the same as the OEM. But I just removed it from the original filter and put it around the new filter and the fit was perfect around the frame and when installed.

Don't get sucked into paying $100+ to have your air filter changed if you have a Honda Odyssey. Buy this and save the markup the dealer slaps on the device and do the work yourself to skip the astronomical labor costs. Took me ~ 5 minutes to replace my old filter with this one. Fit perfect.

Appears to be the same quality as OEM filter. Good fit. Knocked off one star for packaging. The box was pretty beat, and the filter did not come in sealed plastic packaging or even a plastic bag. Just the filter in the box. But at least the filter looks undamaged.

I purchased this air filter for a replacement for our 2012 Honda Odyssey. It was half the price of what an auto parts store was selling it for and one third the price of the same filter from Honda. A side by side comparison identified NO difference from the rubber gasket around the edge to the thickness of the filter. All dimensions were the same as the original filter. I would definitely recommend this filter as a replacement.

Like this air filter because it is a true replacement for the original. Fits snug, and saved a lot of $$ since the oil change folks said I needed one next time. They would have doubled the cost to use one not as good. Used it on my Honda Odyssey.

What's not to like? It fits in the car and keeps squirrels and garden gnomes from getting into the intake manifold. On other cars, I'd make a comment about airflow velocity and volume restrictions and other things that I just don't care about on a daily-driver minivan. It keeps the west Texas dirt out of the motor, so I'm happy.
