Loads of oomph
Longevity and durability unknown as I've not put the battery to use yet, but popping it into a Lakeland spider catcher produced a much more convincing suck that an alkaline PP9.

Ideal long life battery for smoke alarms.
A long life battery ideal for smoke alarms which means they don’t have to be changed for many years. Therefore convenient. Personally would only buy ones like this which are a known assured make.

Battery longevity
Have purchased these batteries before any they last for five years in standard smoke alarm (I write the date on them the day they are installed, straight after purchase) they did not last 10 years in my case as suggested on the packaging.

10 years to go.
Saves the need to replace the smoke alarm batteries for a decade, instead of annually, if the claims are true. They seem expensive but will be cheaper in the long run.

Product stopped my smoke alarm from cheeping!
Had the smoke alarm chirping away for a week or two and a normal 9V replacement battery didn't seem to resolve the problem. Bought this as it proclaims to have a 10 year live span specifically for smoke alarms - so far so good; cheeping has stopped thank goodness!! Tip I read on Youtube before I fitted this one, was to hold the button on the alarm down for 20 seconds after removing old battery to 'drain' the system of any remaining charge - I'm no electrician so no idea if this helped or not, but could see no harm in trying!

Don’t expect 10 years- closer to 5 years!
Batteries installed in two different types of smoke detectors in August 2019 and both expired in early November 2024.
