John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock Leave-On Perfecting Glosser, 2.4-Ounce Tube

I love this hair product! It has a great smell and does wonders on the keeping your hair smooth and beautiful all day! people always complement me on how great my hair always smells and silky it looks! Not to mention it really enhances your brunette color even if it's colored dyed like mine!

This glosser really does help restore some control and vibrancy to my colored hair. The only caveat I have is to ignore the instructions. They advise to apply the glosser to soaking wet hair. I did that and my hair felt like a heavy, greasy mess all day long. So the next time, I quickly towel-dried my hair first, then applied just a dab (the size of a dime) to my palms and worked gently through my still-wet-but-not-soaking hair. When it dried, I was most impressed with the way the product tamed my slightly frizzy hair and and gave me some shine and bounce. My husband even noticed and bless his heart, he usually doesn't notice anything that isn't related to cars or architecture. :-) So I'm very pleased with this product and will keep buying it. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant too, which is a bonus for my sensitive nose.

I was so disappointed to not be able to find this product in my area anymore and I had given up the search. I was searching for something else and it popped up, I couldn't believe my luck! It works greats with my fine hair, as long as you don't put too much on. Smells great and ads lots of shine to my hair. Love it and so glad to find it again.

This works for not only brunettes but other hair colors as well. I know there is a blond one, too, but since I decided not to color my hair anymore, it still works beautifully for "salt & pepper" hair as well. It leave my hair soft shiny, and manageable, too - a plus for naturally curly hair!

Too greasy.

This is my favorite hair product. I simply put it in my hair before I blow dry and it makes my hair look so much more controlled. I always get compliments on my hair on the days I use it. It takes away the friz and leaves my hair sleek looking--and I live in humid Florida!

I really like this product, but it is difficult to consistently find this or any other Frieda product.I have very short multi-colored hair. I wash, condition, dry and use the flat iron to create a little lift. Then I use a small amount (a little smaller than a dime and not gobbed up), rub my hands together then rub and style a spiky look. It adds shine and helps my hair separate a little so it's not clumped in spots.This works for me, but I, of course cannot speak to anyone else's experience.

It has to, because I know that there are people who have tried this product and adore it. Myself, I have thin and fine hair. Never done anything to it other than shampoo and condition (I have curled it lightly once). This product feels and smells nice, but instead of giving me shine it makes me look like I just climbed out of a pool! Plus, in order to remove it I needed to VIGOROUSLY shampoo. It might work for some people, but if you have fine or thin hari - or both! - skip it. Try instead Bath and Body Works BIO shine serum.
