Is this too loud inside the cab while driving?

I felt like it had to much drone inside the cab. I didn't like it and went with something else.

Do you have to cut the old muffler off?

No, old muffler is attached by clamps. Easy removal and install for me on 2016 ram 1500

Will it work on 2021 ram 1500 new body style?

Best thing to do is check the way your exhaust is set up, this is a slip on style, the newer rams have a 2 bolt flange that connect the mid pipe to the muffler
