Norstar magnets are some of the best & strongest I have found. Been using them for decades, to help reduce pain. I have been able to reduce pain meds in some situations when using these. They seem to be more effective for some areas /conditions than others. Use tape to attach or if sensitive to adhesive, the magnets could be taped to clothes. Place the blank side towards the body part needing help.

Bought for my husband who works in construction and who, over the past couple of years, has suffered from a slipped disc and various other back/neck/arm problems associated with the stresses and strains of his workaday world. Hence the foray into Norstar territory. We bought the pair as they are stronger than the smaller ones, their impacting force therapeutically engaging a larger area of the body both in terms of surface and depth.Well, it's got to the stage that he demands they be worn as they actually work - he wears these little 1" gems all the time taped upon and around the painful, affected area, and miraculously, any sprain or strain in the body just goes away, often starting to ease within 20 mins. or so while keeping them taped on overnight and through work the next day (with the brilliant Micropore surgical adhesive tape) until the next ache reveals itself. (They always have to be removed before bathing as they mustn't get wet. And a warning - they must not be worn with a pacemaker as they're quite strong).Well, my husband is now starting to recommend them to guys he works alongside which speaks volumes.He positively swears by them.

Absolutely useless, they are just magnets without any way of staying where your pain is as they have no adhesive at all.WORSE than that, they are not returnable dispite they say you can. Absolutely a con. Don't buy.

Thrilled with these magnets that work! I do a lot of computer work and found I was getting frequent muscle spasms in my right shoulder, probably from too much mouse movement. Fed up with wasting time going to the chiropractor I thought I'd try magnets and found they work and the cost was lower that one chiropractor session. I wore them continuously for a week and, touch wood, no further problems. Just remember to drink 4/5 glasses of water a day while wearing them and you should heal much quicker.

I bought the bigger magnets then sent away for these to use across my shoulder and arm as I have RSI and thought these wouldn't be so bulky. I use them at the first sign of pain and they work. My friend borrowed them for a week for a neck problem and the pain went but when she returned them the pain reappeared after a couple of hours. She is now a convert. I use strapping plaster in a 'cross' pattern and I am able to keep them on even after showering-though they do advise you to take them off. I am really pleased as they work for me and I would recommend them. I don't even mind them being on view, I.e. top of my arm, as I can then tell people about them when they ask what they are. I put them on before I do any work that I know will start the pain and find that most of the time I am pain free!
