This mahjong set is comparable to the one the national mahjong league sells for nearly 3 times the price. The clear plastic tops on the tile storage trays are on the flimsy side but that is true of all sets that come with these type trays. Hence my one tiny complaint is one of the clear tops to the tile storage trays had the end broken off. I decided it wasn't worth sending it back. The tiles are of high quality and the racks and pushers are of the newer style. By newer style I mean they are molded plastic instead of a metal end on the tile rack. Fitting everything back in the carrying case is tricky because it's a very tight fit. The case is sturdy and well made. I would recommend this set as it is exactly as pictured and there is no difference between it and the more expensive sets offered.

Mahjong sets are not cheap but this particular set adds value through its case and the multi-colored pushers. The case is rock solid, attractive, and impressive. It stores the equipment and tiles perfectly. We have played many, many hours using this set and the tiles are showing no wear at all. Compared to other sets on the market, this one is a clear value winner.

Love this game! The tiles are pretty, the pushers work great. All stored away in a good case. The instructions are a little hard to follow and you need cards to play, but this basic set is good. We have a friend who taught us, and use cards from Marvelous Mahjong here on amazon.

Nice set of Mah Jongg... but all the pushers were either cracked or broken.
