Disc ran without issue.As for the movie itself, its a proper conclusion to the series that still connects to the previous movie. Despite not watching the series for nearly two years, this film hit harder than I could have anticipated. The reuniting her with now former major could not have been better, and the behavior of his brother felt natural and not forced. And the handling of her trauma still affecting her was spot on, and a way that will resonate with me for a long before I re-watch it down the road. Even more emotional than "A Monster Calls" is no small praise for me, but beautiful in every way it needed to be.

Of course movie is great.Blue ray disk was delivered successfully. Satisfied with quality. Looks stunning in 4k

Violet Evergarden tells the story of how an orphan girl is used by the military as a soldier in war. Her commanding officer takes pity on her and tries to help her but disappears in battle. Violet loses both hands and uses prosthetics and takes a job as a stenographer. The anime series tells of how she evolves into a more compassionate person.This movie ends the anime series by having her come to terms with her life. A great anime, one of the best ever.

The show itself is nothing short of amazing. The quality and caliber of the animation and artwork for an anime series is phenomenal, Kyoto Animation really went above and beyond. They put so much care into ensuring the end result was always breathtaking every episode.Now, as for the collectors edition, I LOVE IT! The sketches on the Blu-ray cases are fantastic, and the included art book is super cool. You also get some stamps and post cards with art from the show as well. I love this CE and I've already pre-ordered the CE of The Movie as well. I also own the Limited Edition of the previous movie, Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll.FOR AMERICAN PURCHASERS- Please be aware that this is a UK import and that means the blu-ray disc themselves are region locked (Region B specifically). These discs will not function in a normal Region A Blu-ray player, you will either need a Region B player or region free Blu-ray player.

This movie completes the tv series well while also being a good standalone film. You don’t actually have to know anything about the show to enjoy this movie though I would still recommend watching the show first🤣

Watch it if you haven't yet. 4k is a nice upgrade too!

Dejaré primeramente lo malo: No hay opción más que para inglés y japonés, algo habitual si sueles comprar en físico desde México, y no veo realmente el valor tan reflejado por el precio (aprox 600 mx por cualquier versión sea Blu Ray o 4k y 1400 por el paquete con unas cuantas postales y una caja un poco más bonita).Ahora, el producto en físico es como las anteriores entregas, con un cubre polvo con un diseño, portada con otro y portada inversa con un diseño panorámico hermosamente hecho a lo que parece lápiz o portaminas. El perfecto ejemplo de si no, se rompe no lo arreglas. Funciona bien y así lo dejaron. En la versión más cara el disco viene con una caja que a su vez parece paquete de correo y una serie de postales que son francamente hermosas.Violet Evergarden en su primera temporada se consolidó como un clásico instantáneo y tanto OVAs como el largometraje posterior solo acentuaron lo bien que estaba dirigida la serie. Ahora la película cierra el ciclo de forma hermosa, acompañado de la impresionante banda sonora de parte de Evan Call y un apartado gráfico incluso mejor que las anteriores entregas. Definitivamente Kyoto Animation pisó fuerte y dijo "He vuelto" con éste trabajo.Recomendado completamente en cualquiera de sus versiones.

Film splendide comme tous les films de Violet Evergarden (merci à Kyoto Animation), la version anglaise est très bien. Pas de sous titre français mais c'était dans la description.
