Once we 'cut the cord' on our cable TV service and eliminated the DVR in our living room with its digital time display, we found ourselves still glancing into the now empty space under the television for the time display that had been there for decades. This annoyed us enough after a couple days that I started looking for a replacement clock. I wanted something that would fit into the 4" high shelf space with an easy to read, but not too bright or huge display that would distract from the video screen just above it or visually dominate that part of the room. Something nice and discrete, but not too small or dim.Ideally I wanted a wifi, bluetooth, or atomic time synced clock that would always be dead on accurate, but right away I could see that was not to be- all those types of digital clocks are either way too big wall clocks or way too small nightstand clocks. The size thing was a general problem- I only found one that wasn't too small or too big and we tried it out, but the display, while the right height to fit the shelf, was very wide- way too big and bright, even at the lowest of its 3 brightness settings. After returning that one I did a bit more searching and found this, which was a much nicer design in general and had the added feature of a continuously variable display brightness. Set at about 10% brightness this one is perfect for our use case, not to big, not too bright, but easily readable day or night and it's great having the date, time, and room temperature on the display as well for quick reference. Thankfully the design includes battery backup to avoid a complete reset in the event of a power outage (I hate that).The jury is still out on accuracy (I'm spoiled on synced clocks and watches, so I'm a bit of a stickler for this)- after a week I finally set it to dead on correct time and it seems to be floating forward.. it's only been a couple days but it seems to be maybe a second fast now. I guess I could live with +30 seconds a month, it's not that big a deal for the living room clock, but I would think it would be a bit more accurate.All in all I'm quite happy with it, especially considering the amount of hunting it took to find it. I was about to give up. It's sure nice having an easily referenced living room clock again. We never realized how often we both constantly glanced at the old time display every day without thinking until it was gone! I'd highly recommend this to anyone else that's getting rid of a DVR, cable box, or even an old VCR that features a time display they've grown used to impulsively checking.

Easy to set up and program and adjustable display works for any lighting condition. Very clear and easy to read, sharp display. Have to say once you see it you'll find it unique in appearance. Would make great clock for boys or girls with the choices of wood color and light display. We might be handing these out for Xmas gifts to grandkids.

The size, color, and functionality of this clock is great. It is on a bedside table in our bedroom. I love the dimmable feature. The display is easy to see at night without being obnoxious. Great value for the money. Appreciated the fast shipping.

First, I must say the clock looks good and has good sized digits for the amount of info it displays … which are time month day and temp …adjustable brightness to suit your needs … at the brightest setting which is where I like to leave it at is plenty bright and clear for me …its good for vision challenged people like myself. Did I mention I like the look … its small form factor and sleek classy texture adds to my living room contemporary decor. The time is accurate and changes precisely as I’ve aligned it to with my smart watch. The only con I would mention is that my clock seems to read the ambient temp 2-3 degrees on the high side. So I just mentally subtract 2-3 degrees in my head when I read it … if I knew the clock would have a + or - 3 degree temp reading in advance I probably would’ve went with the time only version … which while it only displays the time the digits are larger with a soft cool light which also comes in a sleek and nice looking form factor … I only know this because my sister in law has that one … not to mention it’s cheaper too … on the flip side the seller was responsive when I had expressed my concern so I would summarize the product 3 stars and the seller 5 stars for a total of 4…it’s a nice looking clock with accurate time and a not so precise temp reading sold by a seller who is courteous and attentive.

Easy to set up! We know what day it is now every day!! It's durable, great appearance and love that it let's me know the temperature in each room I have one in!I own 3 of them!!

We ordered 2 light wood for our condo in Keys. Matched perfectly with furniture, love the dimmer, and charger. We had an initial problem figuring out day and year, but company responded really quickly and explained how to do it. Our issue, but great service.Size is good, quality looks, looks more modern than most clocks - and we love the dinner and charger on back. Dinner is really helpful for day and night, for sleeping etc.Highly recommend,

This doesn’t look like a clock when it arrives. No, instead it looks like a triangular block of wood with buttons on one side. I was actually surprised at how good the display lit up on the wood like surface. The display is clean and concise. Examples…AM/PM and DST are in plain view. The temperature gauge is very accurate. *** Bedt feature by far*** —-the light display can be infinitely adjusted! There’s a wheel on the back that gives you the PRECISE brightness that you want. Great feature!
