Definitely recommend!
Really great item, builds easily, looks good, a great present idea as there’s 3 options. Got it whilst it was on offer so was a great value for money!

Great for all
Beautiful build, goes together great and instructions very clear. The main model of the parrot is really nice, has a good amount of detail and is actually a good size. Looks great on display. Its only a short build and not very repetitive so pretty ideal for younger builders too.

A really lovely piece of lego
What a fascinating piece of Lego. It kept my grandchildren quiet for hours. So well designed and clear instructions. The only complaint was taking one beautiful design apart to make another.

Fun and engaging set
This is a great Lego set for those who like a little variety. It is fun to pick a build option out of the 3 available and all the instructions are easy to follow. Each build option is fun and a little challenging, with a rewarding outcome at the end. All 3 build options- parrot/frog/fish- are lovely to see finished, and it's good to have the different options as they can be built and rebuilt as suits the person using the set, it really is like having 3 sets in one.

Polly Wants a Mid-Life LEGO!
I wrapped this 3-in-1 Exotic Parrot set for my dad’s 60th and discovered the real secret to anti-ageing: 253 brightly coloured bricks and permission to ignore the news for an afternoon. He opened the box, declared it “a tad more exciting than socks,” and promptly vanished behind a pile of instruction booklets, emerging two hours later with a rainbow macaw and a grin last seen in 1979.The fun is in the shapeshifting. Just when the novelty of the parrot’s swivelling tail feathers wore off, we dismantled it faster than you can say “mid-life crisis” and rebuilt a googly-eyed tree frog. The frog’s posable legs led to a back-garden “Olympic long-jump” photo shoot, which ended only when Mum threatened to confiscate the phone. Round three produced a neon reef fish that now guards the bathroom shelf like a low-maintenance aquarium—no feeding, no cleaning, just a face that screams “How’s the water pressure today?”Pieces click together with that satisfying LEGO snap familiar to anyone who’s ever stepped on one barefoot, and the colour palette looks like a tropical smoothie exploded (in the best way). At 7+ the set is aimed at kids, but the printed instructions feature big, friendly diagrams that even a bifocal-sporting grandad can follow without squinting.Downsides? Only that LEGO somehow failed to include a brick separator in the box, so disassembly involved a butter knife and a lot of giggles. Also, Dad now hints he’d like the next birthday to bring “something with more horsepower”—translation: expect Technic gears in his future. If you’re shopping for someone who’s old enough to remember pre-decimal currency but young enough at heart to make parrot noises in the kitchen, this creator set is the perfect excuse to ditch adulthood for the evening. Side effects may include sudden fluent frog-speak and an irresistible urge to shout “Polly wants another build!”
