Timberland Women's Mt. Maddsen Mid Leather Waterproof Hiker Hiking Boot

This is my second pair of this boot. They are very comfortable and look even better in person. They even came with an extra set of laces in a different color.Keep in mind that these should be worn with thicker hiking socks, which take up extra room. If I wore these with regular athletic socks, they would be too big for me.I’m more of a casual hiker and my old pair held up well (and are still in use), but if I were going backpacking or on extended hikes, these might not be heavy duty enough. For day hikes, camping and general outdoor activities, though, they are great! Also, they keep out the water really well ( unless it comes in over the top - or you have prolonged exposure.I’ve been a fan of Timberland products for many years and I continue to be impressed.

They are super cute and appear quite durable for hiking shoes. I read the reviews and order 1/2 size up, big mistake! Now I have to return and wait for my size. The shoes run true to size, don’t make the same mistake I did.

I purchased these several weeks ago. Day one I wore them for 3-4 hours and although they were somewhat comfortable, they were also very stiff. I usually wear Merrells and they have been super comfortable right out of the box.I continued to wear the Mt. Maddsens and somewhere on day two or three I realized that they have molded to my foot. Yesterday (day five) I wore them from early morning until I went to bed! They are that comfortable!! I felt like I wasn’t wearing anything and at the same time, felt like I had a very sturdy shoe and could walk through anything.I love these shoes so much! I will be purchasing several more as a backup!!
