NOW Supplements, Super Citrimax + Plus ChromeMate, Iodine, Ginseng, 90 Veg Capsules

This is one of the first times I have purchased a product on Amazon and thought, if I could give it ZERO stars, I certainly would.I read through all of the reviews before purchasing this product and they were mostly all negative, except for one positive review that caught my eye. Usually I run when I see a bunch of negative reviews, but decided to try this product anyway. I do understand what the positive reviewer was trying to say - that it's quite a bit of garcinia cambogia at 1.5g. However, if the quality isn't good, it apparently doesn't matter HOW much you have - it simply isn't going to deliver what you need. The other interesting thing about this product is that it has an impressive profile otherwise, with 300mcg of kelp and 200mg of Panax ginseng. I was thinking wow, I hope I can handle it because I have taken other products with 300mcg of kelp (natural source of iodine) and couldn't sleep!Yeah, you already know where I am going with this, don't you? I am sorry to say that this product does NOT deliver in terms of energy, appetite control, or anything even close! I use NOW brands for a few things, like their MCT oil and psyllium husks, and really like these products. I did use a cortisol support product from NOW, and was kind of "meh" about that one, too. Frankly, it just didn't have enough milligrams to do its job. Back to this review.I have been using Garcinia Cambogia since about 1992 - why? I don't use it for weight loss, although I have used it in conjunction with my nutrition plan when I lost 75lbs. But nope - read the research on it (from reputable sources!) and you will find what I am saying is true. It is an amazing appetite suppressant, controls cravings for sugar, and helps maintain stable blood glucose levels. And, it WILL give you energy!!!! I used SuperCitrimax from NaturalMax for many years until it became difficult to find...and that has changed recently.The way I test garcinia cambogia is this - when I get up in the morning (or I can do it any other time I hear my stomach roaring!), I take the recommended dose, and usually within a half hour, the growling has stopped and I am no longer hungry. This NOW product doesn't even come close to muting the hunger button! Even when I took two more, nothing really happened!So, sorry, NOW Foods, but this product as "weight management support" is an epic fail. If it worked, $11 is a good deal. If it doesn't, then $11 is a complete waste of money, in which this case, it certainly was.

I have used this product for years. It really helps keep my blood sugar balanced. I take it 30 minutes before a meal.

Just a warning about the bottle I actually got when I ordered this product. It does not say 750MG on the front label like the image here shows. Instead, on the nutrition information part of the label, it says that it contains 900MG Super Citrimax. That's good, but I didnt realize that until after I took two pills at once, which made me feel jumpy and gave me a headache. But taking 1 pill 3 times a day is really working for me. I have a lot more energy, my mood is much improved and it really works to block my appetite. I find that I actually forget to eat after I take it.

I've used CitriMax and Super CitriMax for years. It's not a miracle pill and it doesn't get rid of my appetite. What it DOES do is take the edge off my cravings so that I can go from one meal to the next without plucking chocolates and doughnuts from the office kitchen. That's quite a result to get from a safe, inexpensive supplement.

Product arrived on time. Product works.....curbs my appetite.
