I like it. Does exactly what I needed at the right price.
This is decent value. Well made (ignore folk complaining the holes are not aligned, they are if you relax the nuts and then tighten). Instructions are laughable, refer to the spare parts diagram on the back of the leaflet and you’ll see exactly where everything goes. Yes, there is the odd light scratch (in my case I think from transit) but the paint is thick enough and seems good quality. It comes in two boxes, the long one of which was rather trashed on delivery but all was still inside. Once you get your head around that parts diagram it this is easy to assemble. I’ve not pushed it hard - my fly press only weighs around 150kg, but it lifted this with ease. Was also reasonably easy to move about once the weight is borne, which in my cramped workshop was a boon. The castors are metal and durable. It folds up nicely. As others have mentioned, a little standardisation of bolt and nut sizes wouldn’t have hurt at all, but really at this price if it does what you expect don’t complain. You only assemble it once. I think mine is a keeper so long as I have room. Something useful maybe once every couple of years, but when it is needed…

Good but... couple of flaws
Looks good, works fine, goes together well but the instructions are not only hopeless but some are obviously from a different model! Points to note, the smaller wheels go in the middle so they lift off the ground when the crane legs are extended for use, it can be awkward to assemble, not least because it is pretty heavy. Upside of that is that the steel is good and thick. Can't comment eyt on quality of the finish, too early.Packaging was every bit as bad as other comments have said, and delivery was spread out over two daysAlso be advised, not all of these cranes are the same, this one does not have any handles on the uprights for moving the crane around when in use, you have to manhandle the frame itself.

Good value
Bought this for my husband, he loves it. It was easy to put together and to fold up to store. Carried the mini engine no bother. Very sturdy.

Works well
Works well, and no issue with any hole alignment if you initially assemble the upper frame & supports loosely. Bolts need to be measured to ensure the correct lengths go in the correct location too. Instructions are just an exploded parts diagram, but if you’re using this crane then you’re probably familiar with those.

Good value
Many of the reviews for this complained about bolt hole issues and other quality faults but my one is fine. Im very happy with the crane for its price. Works and definitely worth buying.I only really have two complaints. First was the anssembly instructions. They are useless so I kept having to swap bolts around to find the correct ones for each hole. The other issue is the jack arm, it protrudes from the side so gets in the way when you are trying to finesse the engine in or out.

Poor Instructions but good value.
Poor instructions. But so long as you sort the bolt sizes out first, you can manage. If you need a lift then you will be practical enough to assemble it.Good value. I bought a 1800kg leveller off ebay for £25 to go with it.
