A great gro-light at a very reasonable cost
I bought one of these and then promptly bought another, to complete my grow cupboard. I've been using them just for a couple of weeks now, but already I'm really impressed by them. They seem well made, and they work really well. Most important, my young plants seem to love them. Their power requirement if anything seems a good deal lower than the approx 100W given in the specs, so they're working out as cheap to operate. The only issue for me - and this isn't the lights' fault!! - is that because they're LEDs (and not the high-temp sodium vapour lamp they've replaced) I'm having to use a small 400W max space heater for the moment. BUT the overall cost still seems very low - I do record my electricity usage every morning, so I have an accurate feel for my power usage.Overall, I'd recommend these highly.(One thing: if you plan to use two or more side by side, to give decent area coverage, you might consider taping a light wooden dowel or something like that to two of the supporting wires on each lamp; this easily keeps them oriented in the same direction, and improves stability.)

Fantastic for the price
Wasn't expecting miracles for the price, but seriously impressed with them. A few reviews saying they're only good for seedlings or vegging, but 2 of these in a 4x2 from start to finish gave me some super quality tomatoes

It’s bright but dimmerble
I’ve used this since the day got it it and am not disappointed. But be advised it gets hot. Any leaves touching can brown a bit not much but if your a bit like me then I put the plant too close. Lovely looking so not at all obtrusive. Very reasonable for the price no noise. functions as it should is very good light quality superb. The weight is not heavy but not terribly light. So ideal to reposition if necessary. Only thing that would make it absolutely great would be wire adjusters so you can adjust height easily. Size is on Amazon details approx 12x10 with power supply and dial on top.

See your sprouts clearly!
The mostly 3k white light is easy to see how your plants are doing, though perhaps not the absolute most efficient.I use it for growing microgreens and have been impressed.Being able to see clearly allowed me to detect damping off early (critical to spot early) in my last batch of broccoli sprouts. This is my first LED grow light. Doesn't generatea lot of heat, what heat it does generate is easily managed.

looks like a good buy
it's only day 1 but i've had a few of these from various manufacturers and alongside the more expensive ones it fits in well lightwise and handling (heat given off) and even got a free temp/humidity meter thrown in. Basically like all lights these things have 'a life' and from what i can see you get a good 2 years on them before dimming (in my experience) so figure this will be like others i've had but for a good chunk less money for what is a consumable so it looks like a good buy. The hardware of the wires and hooks and the dimmer switch are all good to see too.
