The battery works great was much cheaper replacing the battery than to buy a whole new JBL speaker. Very easy to install if the batteries not swollen my battery is swollen and had to be cut out in pieces. Hopefully that doesn’t happen to you.

Works as advertised.

The original battery swelled and "popped" the housing, so I thought we've lost the speaker. But I found out that you can replace the battery, so we bought this one (higher capacity than the original one).It fits in the receptacle perfectly, and now the speaker is up and running again.With batteries, you never know how well they will age, but so far, so good! Happy with the purchase.

The kit included everything you need to perform the battery swap out, except instructions! No big deal, just look it up on YouTube, still the inconvenience knocked off a star. Seems to be charging well now, the original battery was shot and had actually swollen up a bit making getting it out of the compartment somewhat tricky.

I had my JBL Xtreme for about 6 years on the original battery. I left it in the car in the middle of summer once and then the battery was shot. It would die within 10 minutes of being off the charge. Then it got it where it would die while still plugged in. I figured I'd buy this battery and give it a shot.I am so impressed with this battery. I'm pretty sure it holds a charge longer than the original when it was new. I will charge this thing all the way up in less than an hour. Then I'll leave it off the charger and use it off and on for like 2 weeks before I need to charge it again. 10/10.The installation was a little harder than I expected, but not too bad. It was just way more screws and disassembly than I was expecting. Once the new batter was in, it took like 5 minutes to put it all back together.Highly recommend!

My daughters JBL speaker stopped work about a year ago so I came across a video that suggest it could be a battery issue so i bought this and now it Perfectly fine!! Works just like new!! Thank you

Awful battery. after installing it, I maybe played my JBL extreme a whopping five times before I realized every time I charged it, It was still going to the red light and dying after about an hour or less. Total scam don’t buy.

Seems to be a great quality battery was really easy to put in. The tools that was provided were kind of cheap as hell but if you don't have a Phillips head screwdriver and a butter knife then there's something wrong. Fits in perfect. I'll definitely recommend this to everyone.
