Patricia Rose Spring Duvet Set, Cotton, Green, Double

Very misleading photo. This is not so much of spring duvet set, as it looks far more like a dreary day in November. The duvet cover background is a dull grey unlike the pillow cases which have creamier background. Very disappointing, I'll be returning these.

The description says that this duvet cover is quote "vibrant watercolour paint for a light and elegant Aura". The picture also depicts a 'barely there' pale silvery grey background. When the duvet cover arrived I was astounded to find that the background colour is not at all as shown in the photograph, in reality it is a very dark charcoal grey. I sent for this item because it looked bright, fresh and natural and I also wanted a duvet cover that was 100% cotton, which this one is. I was so disappointed with it. The green leaves get lost in the grey/black charcoal background. The pillow cases are not a white background as shown in the photo but share the same very dark grey as the duvet. The overall effect is neither vibrant nor light, it is dark, very drab, dirty looking and ultimately depressing, the exact opposite of the description and of the photograph. Sadly I am having to return it for this reason.

I like the leafy design, though picture on ad a bit misleading, background grey/white, not white.Haven't slept under it yet, but has washed well and feels soft.
