Cap seals well-Cord problem w/09' Patriot
When I put this cap on (properly) and drove a short distance, the check cap light came on. But since that one occurrence, the cap or engine light has not come on at all. The cap itself works great on my 2009 Jeep Patriot. However, the hanging cord end does not fit into any of the holes to secure the cap when getting gas. I pushed really hard to get it into any of the available holes, but it just wouldn't fit. I was disappointed with that, so I removed 1 star because of it. If you don't care about securing the cord with a 2009 Jeep Patriot and want to cut the cord off, I highly recommend this gas cap.

Perfect replacement for my Jeep Wrangler
Bought this gas cap after my 2011 Jeep Wrangler displayed the check engine light. The old cap was too loose and caused an evap system error. This gas cap was significantly tighter and fixed the problem.

had a check engine light and a code for air leak. bought this new gas cap and the check engine light disappeared after 2 starts. Good snug fit
