I know nothing about yarn. I got this for a crocheting sister in law to make us something. It's very soft.

I really like the color of the yarn, the texture, and the softness of it. BUT this yarn is so hard to work with. I tried making a few teddy bears with it and it’s super difficult to see the stitches and the yarn shreds very easily. I’m not new to crocheting but i’ve also never worked with this style of yarn before.

I was searching for yarn to make hello kitty hat, as I used to make. When I got this yarn I was very excited. But my first skein was so imperfect at many places... like just a string and no loops. See pics 3 and 4. It's not easy to knit, because it's so easy to accept a loop for a stitch. Let say for my hat I cast on 58, but ended up with 60 on top! My second hat will be done with smaller size needles.

Love everything about this yarn. Super pretty color options, I love the pastel "almond" we got. I planned to gift this to our daughter in a package of similar items for a "starter kit" for knitting, crocheting and sewing. However, I did take one skein out to test.I found that this yard works really well as typical yarn should, and is very soft. I imagine that after washing a finished item it would be even softer. I plan to make a wide long scarf with this, so it is definitely important to be soft! I will definitely be buying a few additional colors for her, as the quality for the listed price is very good!

The media could not be loaded. These are such cute little skeins of yarn pack. No recommended yarn for beginners. I did find it easy to undo the chain (see video), but I guess will depend on the complexity of the stitch. That is why not the best yarn for beginners.Thanks for reading!
