Works perfectly as a sports bottle. The insulation is very thin and only keeps the liquid a little bit cooler for a short time. I think it insulates your hand from the cold bottle more than keeping the liquid cold but any more insulation and the bottle would be big and bulky. i use it primarily while in-line skating and have no problem drinking from it while on the move. And, yes, it is made in USA.

I vastly prefer squeeze bottles for water and this one fit all of my criteria when I purchased it. The only real problem is that if I drink from it immediately after screwing the top on water does escape. If I wait a few minutes, there is no water leaking occurrence. Kind of weird, but the bottle otherwise has been everything I needed.

Keeps drink cold, easy to squeeze, the handle is more convenient than I thought and it’s easy to clean. Needed this for running club practice.

I am very pleased with this water bottle. I use it when I am riding my bike and also take it along in the car for road trips. It keeps the water cool for hours. The spout at the top pulls up easily, which is very important when I am riding my bike and only am using one hand to hold the bottle and pull up the spout with my teeth. It is easy to clean with a bottle brush because of its wide mouth. I highly recommend it.
