This was one of the nicest book. Well organized and had color

I bought this book after my elderly parents ran into some health issues to help me understand and communicate their diagnoses and care instructions to them. It has helped so much to be able to do this and be able ask their doctors clarifying questions. There are lots of helpful analogies and multiple approaches to explain all of the concepts in the book to really help them click. Health problems are stressful enough without being so confused about what everything means on top of it, and this has helped to make everything more clear.

Concise and informative and well organized. So nice to see your charts are organized in a rational rather alphabetical manner.

Good for nursing students

I gave the book to an immigrant who can easily read English. It may be too hard for him. I don't think the book is for everybody. I am a nurse with a PhD and it would take a lot of study to use the book.
