I normally wear a size US Wide size 10"-11" and wasn't sure so I went 10.5" and it fits great. They're not real lightweight. kind of workboot weight. maybe a little bit less but they have good support. they're shin-high bottom of the calve. took the weight off of the ball-joint without even getting arch supporters was what I notice right away. I still recommend getting a arch support with carbon material over plastic for any shoes you get especially if you like hiking. I wore them in the rain last night and they seemed dry but I wasn't focused on that so I gave it a 4 star. Hope this helps. if you're not sure of their measuring being accurate I can attest that it is just fine. I think a 10 would of fit a bit too snug and I have really wide feet and these are nice and wide.

I bought these in replace of a pair of $120 boots, and these worked way better than my old ones. The water proof works way better than expected, I went camping for 2 days through mud, freezing water, ice and snow and it never broke through. I like getting my boots a little dirty and they look awesome the way they are right now. Either tucked in, or jeans/pants over them they still look great. 10/10 would buy again, only thing i changed was the insoles but that was from personal preference.

This review is about the Free Soldier Light Weight Tactical Desert Boot Suede Leather size 12M (not with water proof lining version).I don’t normally comment on purchases I’ve made but on this one I will. First, I am a man in my 70’s. I live in the Mid-South USA. I am an active member of our local business community. I purchased these boots because I wanted this style boot just to wear. The boots are extremely comfortable after a break-in period of three weeks plus of everyday use. Yes, the proverbial ankle bite was there for much of that time on one ankle but it too faded. I wear them daily for all my activities including walks on the treadmill at the gym. I walk a lot and have found them to be very comfortable and getting better every day. I will say that one of the boots does feel a bit wider than the other, but it is not really an issue. I have narrow feet, and these fit OK. I would recommend them to someone looking for this type of boot and I would buy them again if needed.

So initially I was looking at these boots for LRP and foot patrols, however after wearing these for 3 weeks here’s what I found:1. The sizes run a bit large, actually. Normally I’m a 13W but the regular 13s still have plenty of room, almost too much. So pack moleskins.2. The boot is half made of decent quality canvas, and real leather, which is fantastic for a summer boot but terrible for any touch of sky p*ss. These will get wet eventually and will suck.3. The sole support is actually decent for my foot (I’m flat footed). The design and cut of the tread at the button do grant some better cushion and shock absorption than some other boots.4. The laces are unable to be sinched down tight for high inclines or ankle support, carrying large kits. Even at its tightest, I can still slip two fingers between my ankle and the boot neck.5. I already touched on it, but again these boots are better for garrison duty, or just general base activities. I would NOT recommend for LRP, foot patrols, winter climates, excessively wet conditions, FTXs, and lord only knows how it would do in the Crucible. Over all, not terrible but certainly it’s no Danner.

You know? There are sometimes where you just go with your gut… I think that this is the coolest pair of boots that I have bought in such a long time! They fit really well, they are comfortable, and they were not outrageously expensive… If you are interested in them in the least, I say GET THEM… because they’re pretty amazing!

I'm reviewing my second pair of these, after I lost the first pair to a burst pipe at work flooding a room to the ankles. These boots have to be the best made in China item I've ordered in a long time, they're reasonably comfortable, they're cheap, and they have held up to daily use for five months. The build quality is decent, although I would consider them more water-resistant than water-proof. As stated earlier, they flooded after a half hour of exposure to ankle-height water. You get what you pay for, if you're looking for fully waterproof work boots I would look elsewhere. That being said, as daily drivers at a job where I put literal miles on these boots on a daily basis, I couldn't be happier with them. They're still comfortable and still look great, and have held up to constant daily use for months. I wish they had steel toes, however for the price I'm satisfied with what I got. I definitely recommend them if you're looking for inexpensive, good-looking, and comfortable work boots, just don't get them too wet!

Best boots on the market for the price. Sturdy, warm, and keeps the snow at bay. I tell all my coworkers about these boots. Will definitely only be buying boots from Freesoldier from now on.

They were very hot but if it’s fall or spring they would be great. They are much more comfortable then any of my other boots after breaking in but for the first 10 or so hours they dig into your ankles. I find it all worth it because they are comfortable and feel like they would last fairly long. 8/10 would recommend.

One boot was wide (left side) and the other one was normal (right side) and i order 9.5 wide . Une botte était un 9.5wide (gauche) l'autre était 9.5 normal et j'avais commander des 9.5 wide .

Very comfy, light weight, waterproof and well made. Use them for metal detecting. Never a problem.

Very good boot. I exchanged them for the brown. Just did not like the color.

These boots are very comfortable and they did fit perfectly when I tried them on.
