Waterdrop Reverse Osmosis System G3P600, NSF/ANSI 58 & 372 Certified, Tankless Under Sink RO System, RO Water Filter System, TDS Reduction, 600 GPD, Smart LED Faucet

Bought this over other popular ones because it was lower in price and the remineralization filter looked to be easy to add-on later if needed. I actually wrote into customer support of other systems that were pricier to see if they can offer some advantages of their system to justify the price difference. The responses I got back only talked about how great their own system was, which led me to conclude that these systems may be fairly similar in capability.Anyhow, installation was simple and I did it solo in about an hour. The system is larger than you may think. In particular, if you have a farmhouse style sink like I did, the vertical opening of the cabinet underneath your sink may not be tall enough to slide the unit in. I had to tilt it to get it in mine. Also, if you have a garbage disposal then make sure there's enough room to the side.My water's TDS went from 150 - 200ish to 12 - 15. I verified that the numbers displayed on the smart faucet matched my own TDS meter. The flow of water coming out of the faucet was strong for me but I do believe this will depend on your pipe's original water pressure.I ended up not purchasing the remineralization filter because the water taste without it is great.Only had it for two months so cannot comment on lifespan of the filters yet.

Update 2023-07-04:After working with customer support, they sent me a new unit to see if this would solve the discrepancy in the TDS readings. After installing the new unit today I see that the TDS values for my meter and the faucet are now within 3 PPM. Updating my review to 5 star.Original Review:I purchased this unit specifically because of its good reviews. I've tested the water chemicals with an at home water testing kit, and with 2 separate total dissolved solids TDS meters.I'm pleased to report that the water's chemical composition was commendable, demonstrating the effectiveness of the reverse osmosis process. My initial TDS readings out of the faucet were around 300 PPM. From the RO faucet the meter readings dramatically reduced to 40-50 PPM (measured with my own equipement).My gripe with this product lies in the inconsistent readings from the TDS meter attached to the unit's faucet. Despite the consistent 40-50 PPM readings on my independent meters, the faucet's display consistently shows a lower TDS value of around 12-15 PPM.In seeking clarification, I contacted the customer support team. They suggested that the discrepancy might stem from the fact that their meter measures TDS levels in flowing water, while I was testing in a static environment. Nevertheless, even when I altered my testing conditions measure TDS with flowing water with my own equipment the discrepancy remained.Despite this minor hiccup, I must say I'm satisfied with the system's performance. Its impact on water quality is tangible. However, the inconsistent TDS reading prevents me from providing a full five-star rating.

After moving into a new house, we were in need of a new reverse osmosis system. I was thrilled to come across this particular system that doesn't require a tank and is incredibly easy to install. Our previous system necessitated professional installation and over time, we noticed a decrease in water pressure from the tank.What I particularly love about this system is that it operates without the need to wait for more water to fill up in a tank. After fighting with my previous, conventional R/O system (with an upgraded 4 gallon tank) I gave in and bought the Waterdrop tankless system. I also purchased the mini pressure tank for my ice maker, and the remineralization filter. For various reasons, I opted to have a plumber remove the old system and install this one, although I watched him install it and it took no time at all. It was all "plug and play." Once the system had flushed itself, I poured some water and taste tested it against the last water the conventional system had given me. I was amazed at the difference in taste! This water is really better. There is no drop in pressure after you've drawn a pitcher full to make tea or coffee, it's just always there. After reading a couple of reviews, I was concerned the pump was going to be too loud, but you can barely hear it. After a week or two, I'm sure I'll get used to it and it will probably just fade into the background. I wish I had bought this a long time ago.

I tried the GE tank based RO filter (Home Depot). That stopped working in 2 weeks.Was absolutely delighted at the WaterDrop unit. Right from opening the box to having it up and running (30 mins DIY install), my faith in companies building products to last and with high quality was restored !Tankless is the way to go. The difference in water wastage and hassles of tank based systems is too significant now. The water pressure is amazing (my unit also supplies the fridge which finally now works with the water pressure !). Definately worth it even though twice the cost of the GE tank based RO filter.

I didn't have a extra hole for the faucet, used the template provided to drill the faucet hole and the faucet fit perfectly. Overall fairly easy to install all by myself with no help. The filtered water taste's good. Overall very much satisfied with the purchase.

I have tried all the best counter top units. None were removing the obvious taste of chlorine among other things. I had unit installed and my water tastes clean. Unit is convenient to use. It did cost me $2500 to have installed. Might be less for others as I have an old house. I recommend.

Everything is good so far. Except the sound. Really annoying. I'd like to get another one if I didn't installed. Hmmmmmmmm
