Looks incredibly professional for such a low price
I'm the host of a top-500 podcast and when people see my setup through the webcam, they are always blown away by how professional it looks. When I tell them it is really all just an inexpensive Amazon mic stand and arm, they are shocked! I've sold a ton of these just from people seeing how great it looks. Quality is great, they last for years and I just can't imagine buying another brand.

good bang for buck, dubious durability, tbd
not as flexible or adjustable as the preview images suggest, until there is the weight of a microphone being used on it. i'm a newbie so i'm not sure if that's by design, but i was frustrated for the first few minutes trying to figure out why it seemed like a spring-loaded death trap that didn't wanna stay where i bent it. i eventually got the hang of things, and all things considered, this works fine enough for me, for now, for the cost, as i learn some things about how to use audio equipment. durability out of the box feels fine, but time will tell. i'll be happy if it lasts me long enough to figure out if i need something different or if more of the same will suffice. good enough for me, for now.

Cheap but it works
It's not too stable. Build quality isn't amazing. I worry just the tiniest amount about it falling over but it works fine. It clamps well to my desk. It has enough maneuverability to get my mic where I want it. You know you're not buying the best option but it works just fine.

Works great to support a CPAP mask on a headboard
I use to to support a CPAP hose which can swing out while in use or away during the day.The clamp on the base is better than a more expensive versions. The last joint (for the mic itself) is a bit weak, but the arm itself is able to be put out far enough to make that a minor concern. The metal arms are very thin and I suspect if I needed to change the angles often it may break before too long, but the swivel looks like it will last for years. (I hope).

Useless Junk
Requires Over 50+ CM of space away from any wall in order to function. The whole point of a microphone arm is to save space, but the extreme angle makes it impossible to put near any wall. Even if you mount it to the middle or front of your desk instead what do you get in return. You get an pointy angle half the size of a dinner table that you need to avoid, in exchange to extend your microphone in front of you for not even half of the length.

Doesn't seem heavy-duty to me
Maybe I misunderstood what heavy-duty was. It seems to not withstand the weight of my AKG P220 mic, and the stand falls off my desk quite often. I think I finally have it in a spot where that won't happen anymore, but after using it for several weeks now, I'd probably get a different one the next time. It does work, but not for heavy microphones.

It’s easy to set up and works as advertised
The media could not be loaded. Whenever possible I choose Amazon Basics mainly because you get great value for your dollar, and up to this point, they have not failed me. There way better quality microphone desk arms out there, but they are over priced. When buying items like this I way in on what it is that I need it to do and then I place a value on it. This microphone desk arm is not the sexiest but it does exactly what I needed without breaking the bank.
