This is a fine ebook to draw girls into reading*, giving a US small-town view of friendship/morals and relationships. All very wholesome.* Nothing wrong in boys reading this (Dad has quite enjoyed it), but most boys would probably prefer Archie or Kevin Keller from the same publisher.
