Q: Can more than one bluetooth lavalier/lapel mic be used with this sytem?

You can run both of the supplied Bluetooth mics, hand held and clip on lav, simultaneously although there's only the one BT volume control for both. You can also have 2 wired mics play in the 3.5 and 6.5 inputs with individidual volume controls. I just tested it and you can play a total 4 mics, 2 BT & 2 wired, at the same time.

Q: what is the distance you can have the transmitter and receiver at if you turn around

If you're inside, the distance is about 100 feet. If you're outside the voice is clear up to about 75 feet. Although the distance is much farther for general music use, maybe up to 200 feet if the wind it's blowing. Hope that helps.

Q: What does "Additional speaker hook-up" mean? Connecting second speaker of same kind by cable, wireless?

It allows you to use an auxiliary cable to its jacks. You can run a speaker and extra mic, as long as the ends are standard and compatible to the ports. It has good interface system for a small unit. Very handy. Wireless system can be used while a mic is in use.

Q: I purchased this system, used it in a large room with about 80 people. it was not loud enough. how do i get more volume? i had it turned al the way up

1. Volume up on amp. 2. Volume up on mic transmitter. 3. Speak louder. I have used it for 100 people and works great. However, it all depends on how spread out everyone is. It's not the number of people, it's the size of the space and the acoustics of the space.
