ProActive Sports 12 Foot Coil Golf Ball Retriever

This is an excellent ball retriever. It extends really long and is reasonably sturdy even at the fully extended length. I prefer the basket retrievers to all others because for me it is the simplest and most reliable type. This was purchased as a Christmas gift and I liked it right away but I felt it was shorter than what I would have expected. It wasn't till I had it for a couple of months that I realized that there was a front section that was fused closed making it a effectively a 3 section unit instead of a 4 which explained why it was short. It was already past the Amazon return window, however I contacted customer support and they sent me a new unit anyway. Gotta love a company that stands by their product. 5 stars for me all the way around on this one.

Got this for Christmas and it works great!! Easy to retrieve balls out of the water (I do that more than I hit it into bushes) - just place and scoop, and your golf ball comes out all clean and ready to use :)I recommend it highly!

Good service. Great product. I’ve probably already retrieved enough of my own golf balls to pay for the thing. My only dilemma I have is…do you really trust a golf ball that eagerly sought the water hazard the first time?

I am so disappointed with this product quality. I had one of these years ago that was made so well and was a great tool. This unit was broken out of the box and is just such disappointing quality. I am going to take the time to improve and strengthen this one as I think if I send it back I will receive nothing but more disappointment. I think a couple of well placed rivets will make it much better.

The retriever is OK but there is a weak point where the basket fastens to the rod. After using it several times, the basket broke off and I had to repair it using a screw to refasten the basket to the rod.

Love this retriever, when it wasn't bent. Does bend easily though. Could be built more durable.

Just what he needed For those nasty golf balls that end up in the water. The coil end is easy to sink around the ball! The 12 foot pole is all you need. This is a sturdy and attractive retriever. Would make a good gift.
