UPDATE: After spending the weekend on a DIY wainscoting job; I used this solid for two long days. Its just fantastic. So handy, when you move between the work area and outside, or taking calls. The sound is actually perfect....it can go very loud if needed and after a few minutes of use; you dont stop and say the sound isn't great; it's perfect for this usage. I'd highly recommend this to a domestic scenario, where a large job site radio isn't ideal. I was able to listen to the radio (via phone app), Spotify and podcasts. Super little device.Original review: I just received it and this does NOT come with a magnetic attachment on the rear clip; it's just a plastic clip. So you will not be able to stick this to a metal surface. The description is incorrect, which I've reported. The sound is something others have commented on, that it's "thinney" or lacks base. My view is yes; that's true; it could do with more BASE sound, but it's FINE. It's a small compact speaker, that has a very high volume, and it's good enough for what you need on a site. It feels very robust and the usual great quality from dewalt. The Pairing is easy and the buttons are a dream to work. Well worth €70 and the nice thing is that the music travels with you on a site, say from a cutting station to the install place, or talking calls id imagine it will be very handy.

I’m an audio freak. At work I listen to music and podcasts and radio all day.For over a decade I’ve used mostly cheap in ear headphones for 7 hours a day which has now caused me some hearing loss (be careful!)Since my hearing problems I have bought this speaker and I highly recommend it. It goes everywhere with me, walking the dog, work and even when I’m doing my heavy bag boxing workouts. I clip it to my collar and you can hear it clearly on low volume.Clarity is superb. It charges fast and the battery lasts all day.I’ve dropped it several times and it’s solid.It is only small (fits in the palm of your hand)so don’t expect really powerful bass but it’s definitely not a ‘tinny’ sound.If I lost this speaker I would replace it like for like straight away. It’s quality, get yourself one.

Love this ! Don’t have to take my big bulky radio on site now this just clips on clothes or belt or magnet to anything! Great base sound for such a small device! Battery last two days ! Brilliant

There's always a but even with branded products. In the quiet space of a car, the music is loud and the calls can be heard, but in a busy factory, it's useless for calls unless you hold it up to your ear. A good idea would be a headphones jack so you can choose to wear an ear piece for such occasions.

Brilliant does what it says on the tin , use it all the time bit more freedom than having ear buds in all day love it , obviously sound not perfect as a stand alone Bluetooth speaker but still pretty impressive!

Stop working after 4 monthsExpensive and Not durable

Purchased this 18/5/24 and it's lasted until the first week of August so approximately 11 weeks before the speaker now sounds like a Motorhead concert, the distortion is unbearable.I have to be conscious of noise on my job site so this was perfect for my needs and when I first got it the speaker was really good but I was hoping it would last longer than 3 months, especially for the high cost of it.Avoid, definitely not worth the money!!!

Always had some sort of site speaker but they can be very bulky and bit over powering in a domestic setting. This speaker is great you can keep it on your person and it’s just right for listening to the radio or a podcast without being too load in a customers house. Easy to pair with a phone, good sound quality for podcasts, music is ok but I feel this is much better suited for podcasts, radio etc… not banging out the tunes. Charges quickly and last the whole working day for me. Slightly expensive for what it is but the build quality is really good.
