Product looks great and solid.I've read another comments and I'll jump into the "It's very hard to make a straight line" wagon. I know it says it requires practice and once you get the hang of it you will be on a rollercoaster of beautiful crafting. I will say it hasn't been that way for me. I have cut around 40 bottles and only 5 have managed to do a straight line, its a gamble really, sometimes you have this amazing bottle that you have been waiting to cut to end up broken hearted to realise while twisting the line won't just meet and your bottle is ruined in seconds. There is no way to secure the base and if in one twist you move a mili mili milimetre, you are done, so you are left with hey this is our patented product, it has an important flaw that will be solved with ours of practice and mountains of wasted bottles. Well done for you guys who have been able to master the craft.

Bought this as an addition to my regular glass cutter. This is actually easier to use on bottles than my other glass cutter. It does take a little practice to get it right, and you will lose a couple of bottles. Even when you're used to it, the occasional bottle will break. That's the nature of glass; it's imperfect.Getting a straight line isn't too difficult. You need to get the tightness right. Too loose and the bottle to move about, too tight and the amount of force you need to use will make it difficult to keep the bottle straight. Again, this is all down to practice. You will get the feel for it eventually.When cutting bottles, take your time and ease the bottle around. Sticking the cutter in a vice also helps.

Got this for the mrs as she wanted to make glasses and other thing out of old and quirky bottles. She is really happy with this and is always on the look out for quirky looking bottles to makes something out of.

great product. A little difficult to use, 50/50 on bottles cutting cleanly but that is lack of ability of the user not the product :)

Love it but really tricky trying to line it up straight. Sure it'll just take some practice

I LOVE this bottle cutter. Got it a few days ago and made myself some glasses. It is a very good product. It can be hard to match up the score line but all it takes is practice. I would very much recommend this product.
