Good rods, well made and long lasting
High quality sticks. My son plays, and is a fairly hard hitter. Cheaper sticks shred in no time. These are lasting well, and he really likes the wooden handles. They produce a pleasant tone, obviously quieter than regular sticks, but clear enough to keep a picky player happy. For additional control, we recommend adding a hair band above the existing band.

Like them a lot
This just about completes my collection of vic firth hitty things. Lovely quality feel, nice balance. Make me want to play. Not as perfect as the rute 500s but another good option. Aesthetically very pleasing if colour and design matter to you. It's subjective but all my students say the same thing and agree.

Good but don’t last that long
Really like these and they are quieter than sticks but I had to put a ring on the end to stop the rods splaying out so much. Used them for about half an hour to an hour every day and after two months they are nearing the end of their life. I’m not very heavy handed, so don’t expect them to last too long.

Poor durability
After the grip, the next thing you notice is the weight and that the balance point feels very different. That aside I persevered and played a gig - pop/funk. The sound generated was pleasing but the durability was shocking and I wasn’t playing especially hard.

Good for quiet playing.
Items delivered had a thin rubber band near tip rathe than wide band as shown in illustration. They still, doe the job well.

The Best so far. But don't last that long.
Tried a few pairs of other makes and various price ranges, but these are without doubt, the best. Or so I thought. Great feel and weight but had these for less than 12 months and mainly for a quieter practice and not overused, once they start to splinter there's no stopping them.
