Big fan of Trend cutters
Although I tend to use the silver “pro” Trend cutters more often, I do still get the green “craft” ones now and again for lighter use and for the money they are spot on.Sharp and durable they give a nice finish even on hard maple and oak boards. There are loads of Chinese “cheap cutters” out there, and I have bought a few, but they never last and in some cases are questionably safe.Trend are reputable and trusted for a reason, they make good gear.

Did the job
Did the job it was intended for. Not sure of the quality as I am a d.i.y.er so got nothing to compare to. Just needed it to do a one-off job.

Good
I was a little hesitant buying this as it's a bit cheap. However, I needed to face off the front edge of a 1.5 m long, 40 mm thick walnut worktop and did not have a long enough bit to do it in one pass.I'd already tried doing it in multiple passes using a shorter bit but ended up with a line where the passes overlapped so with nothing to lose I thought I'd give this a go.I had a few mm of material to remove to get rid of the marks left by previous failed attempts but doing a few light passes gave me a very nice finish. All I had to do to finish it up was give it a light sand with some finishing paper to take off the sharp edges and then a few coats of Osmo Topoil.Very good value for money!

Nice clean cut
I have only used one of the two but can say the cut is as what would be expected and Trend lives up to the quality you would expect Totally recommended

When you need quality
These Trend cutters are great quality at a reasonable price. Take it steady, don't go to deep on the first and subsequent passes and it's possible to get half a dozen cuts from each one. The K-mark on the shaft is a useful indicator during set up. My go-to cutters.

Straight flute cutter
A 1/2 Inch shank supporting 12.7mm cutter with two cutting edges producing an excellent finished piece, utilising the 1/2 inch support set at a fast speed will produce a fine cut on your workpiece. Highly recommended.

Okay for Light Use, but Wears Fast
Fits well and cuts cleanly at first, but durability was disappointing. Burned out after a few passes on worktops. Expected more from a Trend product might try a cheaper alternative next time.
