A really good product. Cuts very easily with a hacksaw so you can trim to your hearth etc. Very efficient at reflecting heat whichis a saving when brazing/silver soldering. Highly recomended .

Excellent value and useful size for an open hearth fire as thick enough to stack. Too early to comment on durability. Arrived very promptly and well packaged.

Just what i wanted

I used these in a stack to form a small 'oven' for heat treating small items of 01 tool steel using a MAAP torch. After a couple of sessions two of the bricks cracked and pieces fell off. I was not too surprised by this because I had noticed that most of the set of 5 bricks had hair-line cracks when delivered to me.

Item arrived very well packaged. Good product, will be using for making a small forge for heat treating steel.

I recently purchased 10 Insulating Firebricks 230 x 114 x 76mm which I had located on Amazon Search under "Firebricks for wood burners". In less than 48 hours of use, the 2 bricks which (according to the specification can be used to 1400 C ) had been positioned within stove, one either side, had both fractured badly. There had not been any physical impact on the bricks by any of the small pieces of logs used. The manufacturer / supplier has not offered a refund or offer of provision of suitable firebricks............this goes even further to disappoint my wife and I in dealing with this company.
