Very impressed.
Bought this for my husband and he's very impressed with it. We went snorkelling at the beach several times on our recent holiday and had no problems with either the snorkel or the mask. He found it easy to use and had no issues with air intake or leaks as some other reviewers have said. Really innovative design and great quality - a great all round bit of kit.

Good but expensive
Bought it for a holiday in Croatia. Loved it. Much, much better than a traditional snorkel. Also worked so much better than those full face snorkel masks as I never seem to get a good fit. I would recommend, but like other reviews, think it's very strongly priced for what it is.

Difficult to get used to. Not necessary stress on snorkelling
Difficult to get used to. Generaly interesting product but creates stress that is not needed during snorkeling or dive...

Powerbreather allows me to swim again.
The powerbreather allows me to swim crawl without turning my head. I have spine issues and this device assists greatly. In a swimming pool setting my throat tends to dry out, I have not used it in the open water yet. The front grill detached but was replaced free of charge by the company. I have several friends who will purchase the product. In general terms this Powerbreather is a very useful unit.

Doesn't let water in as easy as a basic snorkel and easier to inhale and exhale
Love my powerbreather. Bought it when It first came on the market. Easy to use, comfortable for drills kick and pull sessions full swim and tumble turns. Far superior to any other snorkel

Too expensive.
Bought this for sea swimming. I can only do a fairly casual breast stroke these days and it was a pain in the neck, literally, keeping my head out of the water all the time. First 10 minutes of use I thought it was going back under the 6 week trial period - it didn't feel as "natural" as a normal snorkel without all the valves and I hated the fact it was clamped to my head rendering fast removal impossible.20 minutes later I loved it! I don't bother tightening it to my head as it sits against my mask/head and doesn't move anyway so no need. You get used to the breathing being a little different with the valves as it's not really SO different, just that initial impression. You get tiny amounts on water in the mouthpiece but they really are tiny and are expelled on the next breath so no issue whatsoever. You can hear the valves sometimes - squeaking/wheezing noises that make you look around for dolphins! The mask is adequate, nothing special. Basically I bought this one for the "rougher water" extended tubes without paying even more over the top for the wave edition as I didn't need the short tubes - so £10 cheaper and a "free" mask. Why three stars? Because, for what it is, it is way overpriced! If it was half the price I'd give it 5 stars but at the price, only buy it if you can suffer the annoyance of feeling you're overpaying for what it is.
